    Thank you for this video! I just finished a 2"inch body lift on my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder LE 4x4 R51 US edition using SFcreation body pucks and the only problems I ran into so far was that I have to extend my steering shaft a bit.
    I reccommend also disconnecting the bolts that hold the brake and fuel lines on both sides as the holes do not line up anymore for the bolts. Other than that it looks great!

      I'm probably going up on the rim this weekend and then the car will be down for the rest of the month until Moab in October. I do have an event scheduled in the East Valley offroad group for a run through New River Canyon on the 26th of October.

    Nicely done sir 👌. I've been holding it off with the lift. How and what was the condition of the frame bolts?

    Hey man! Live the build so far. I was debating on running that iron man lift or just doing a subframe drop. What is your take on the iron man? Would you do it again? Did you have alignment issues?

    • @JTube571
      @JTube571  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I feel like the Ironman kit has sagged a little, but I can't fully confirm that. But I will be swapping it out for the All Dogs Offroad Koni kit soon. Some minor alignment issues in the rear, but as long as you stay under 2" of suspension lift you should be fine. I won't do a subframe drop because I want to keep as much ground clearance as possible.

    Newbie question... What is the reason for the body lift? Pros and cons? Stress on CV joints?

    • @JTube571
      @JTube571  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      With the R51 having independent suspension in the rear, you can only lift them ~2" max before you start having issues with positive camber in the rear. The solutions to that are offset bushings in the upper control arms, or do a subframe drop. The bushings are expensive and not easy, and I won't do a subframe drop because I like having as much ground clearance as possible. So IMO the best way to lift these is with a small suspension lift and an equal size body lift.
