I would have taken that winch/bull bar mount off the body and made a plate to bolt to body frame. Then you could move winch mount up and avoid welding and drilling winch mount..
Hey mate, did you encounter any problems concerning length of electrical harnesses or hose? Also you have to adjusting your focus points on headlights.. 🇹🇹
Looks BADASS dude! Whats your plan for the sliders? Noticed you didnt put them back on. You gonna have to modify them a bit now that the body sits a bit higher?
Oh man that dosnt sound fun at all! To be honest i would always have chassis ones as the bullbar can come out of alignment easily! It’s definitely on my to do list! Thanks for the comment 😊

looks great dude well done, i need to body lift my nav now, i have the same problem on my newly fitted tray to my nav, the headboard is too high, problem is i have brushbars, might just scrab em and get sliders too!! #navlife
Aaron Ford you can go maximum (same as most other states now) 75mm. Or with an engineer certificate you can go 150mm just like most states. But you won’t get a nav certified with a 6” lift.
Does it handle like crap now? I only had 4" in my cruiser and it was shit on and off road. Yeah it was higher but so much less stable. I dropped back to 2" and kept the 4" shocks still fits 35s and the off road performance and on road stability was an incrediboe change.
@@RoamLyfe nice man glad it works for you, i liked the way it looked and all the clearance at 4" but was almost undrivable on road and so tipoy off road. Mine must be the toyota badge, seems to generate alot of problems.
I run a 3 inch lift in my 80, but I also have dropboxes and spaced swaybar mounts. 33s inch tyres too. It drives better then our other 80 with just standard 2inch lift.

Still drove like shit. Wandered all over the road over 80km/h real bad understeer cornering under speed. It is still running all the same gear but with a tall 2" coil and its a far more drivable car. Feel much more comfortable tackling tough tracks at pace with out feeling like im gonna end up on my lid and have no issues fitting the 35s just need to be more cautious of departure and approach angles with 2" less clearance. Not to mention less unwanted attention from the law haha
If you remove the nut you welded in place, then weld a steel plate on top of existing bracket and weld nut to the back of it. Make sure you also extend the gusset up as well that way you increase the sideways strength of it. Last thing you want to do is hit something on an angle and it bend the current mounts. That looks great...hoping you remembered to re-tighten up the steering uni joint?!!
Yes I did!! I actually left a rag tied to the steering wheel so that if I did forget and went to jump in the car I’d then see the rag and remember! 😂

Hey mate, what sus lift do you have before you installed the bod lift?
Hello, what did you do about the ac lines? They are solid metal lines, did you bent them?
hello to you friend, could you tell me the modifications to be made for the installation of body lift (navara d23)?
Hey mate, did you encounter any problems concerning length of electrical harnesses or hose? Also you have to adjusting your focus points on headlights.. 🇹🇹
Did you need to extend any wiring? I want to go for 3 inches but I'm really worried the shop isn't gonna check my harnesses or hoses
Hey mate did u have to play around with the sliders to be lifted with the cab
does this lift gives any bad stress tension at wires or hoses, at steering column, engine and diff components and shafts ????
There is negatives to it for sure! But I know a lot of people that have been running it issue free for years now!
Did you have to do a regear since your tires are 35"?
Did you have to get extended brake lines?
Looks like it is time for some bigger rubber now. Looks good mate.
Hhaha goals! My wheels are so new It would be hard to get rid of them 😓
how much did it roughly set you back to get the car engineered with the lift you’ve got now
Did you have to extended the wires and hoses connected to the cab from the chassis? Looks sick by the way
Nope! But I’m not a professional and if you’re unsure I’d suggest talking to one! I’m just following some friends that did similar setups!!
Have you had to change the way you mounted the bullbar yet or have you left it how it is with no problems??
Looks BADASS dude! Whats your plan for the sliders? Noticed you didnt put them back on. You gonna have to modify them a bit now that the body sits a bit higher?
hope you dont pull (whinch or recovery points) on the bullbar. Now that it's sitting higher it might damage the chassis.
Good point! I currently don’t have any recovery points but I do want to get some! They will be chassis ones I assume
@@RoamLyfe yes, would be better. I've see a Mercedes G-Wagon winch off it's higher placed winch bumper ;). the damage was no fun!
