He also hugged Tebogo right after the race; how uncool. ... Lyles started strong and finished stronger. I seriously doubt he told the truth when he said he has covid. People can't even show visual proof that he wore masks prior to after the race. ... You are free to disagree with me and believe Lyles. I say this in the most humane way: Lyles has narcissist traits and lying about a covid test, or using it as an inferred excuse is not beyond what someone could do. ... I do think Noah has a panic attack which could have led to an asthma issue. He was in utter shock right after the race. Several minutes later, he started being affected mentally.
I think talking trash is part of the Sport and when done in somewhat of a respectful way it does add to the hype. Ya gotta admit that Noah is usually pretty quick to give his competitors his respect after races. As a Canadian I can understand why he gets so much Hate, even though I personally don't mind a little trash talk or entertainment between competitors. For me tho, as soon as the race is over.... ya gotta give the guys their due. Ngl, I was thinking Lyles would win that 200m but it didn't shock me that Tebogo pulled it off. I was surprised with how fast he ran tho.... that was Blazing for an Olympic Final. Tebogo said it best Noah is loud and arrogant. If your gna be like that expect the hate when u lose and don’t back it up. If someone is humble and they lose, the fans support them. If your arrogant and lose fans will laugh. The way it’s always been and will continue to be.
Regardless if Noah had covid or not, Letsile ran a world lead and he could’ve clocked a 9.3 if he didn't celebrate before the line. Noah hasn't run that fast in 2 years. I honestly feel that Letsile was going to win regardless if Noah had covid or not. The reason Noah gets so much hate is because he talks so much trash which is fine but when he can't back it up he needs to take the hate on the chin. He talks quite a lot, some of it being completely delusional stuff, like running 9.4s, 18.7s, etc. Lyles should have ran much faster than 19.7s. Question now is: would he have ran a faster time than 19.46s? That's the question, and that's not guaranteed at all (19.46s is Lyles 2nd fastest time ever). And Tebogo also let up slightly, so he would have ran maybe 0.02s even faster if pushed. Lyles had a lot more time between the 100 and 200m at trials too.
Yeah I agree with you and like I said Tebogo as a great futur and he can definitely improve in the next few years. The only thing that was pissing me off was people saying Noah did not have Covid and that he should have just taken the L....like what but hey like I said only the track fan doesn't like Noah and that why I think he's gonna be ayt 😂
Also I feel like people think that Noah is the only one talking 😂 when Kenneth, Fred and even Tebogo are talking trash and you know celebrating before the line etc... but Noah as all the media attention and that why people see him more and he talk a lot also 😂😂 but it's what makes the sport interesting and sometimes I feel like is doing it on purpose
True, I think he is doing it on purpose, too. Nevertheless, it still annoys me. Same reason why I couldn't stand Justin gatlin, and why I'm not a fan of shacari. Sometimes, they need to just humble. That being said, now that Justin doesn't run track I like him. And Noah seems like cool peeps off the track. Jury still out on shacari for me.
