    Howsit @Boone Loves Video !
Love your work, really, you're the only resource I've found online who really unpacks, explains and knows the GeoLayers tool so well, so thanks for that!
Especially your '18 GEOlayers Tips in 18 Minutes' tut helped a ton, so for those who haven't seen it go give it a watch.
One thing that bugs me though is the user friendliness of duplicating & renaming maps/comps in Geolayers.
What if a certain project calls for multiples of the same maps, just slightly different tweaks of it. (i.e a different animated route)
Duplicating comps, renaming things, just seems to almost always break it, without the option to undo.
So essentially, this is a tutorial request :)
Or any tips or links to a resource on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
Cheers from Sunny Cape Town, South Africa!

What's up Cape Town! So I would recommend working in a really long timeline, and doing all of your animations in that one timeline. Use markers to label each section, and Hold keyframes between animations to control the view. Then Render/Export by work area range.

Hey there. Im a huge fan of your channel. I dont know if youve covered this before, but i would definitely appreciate if you could do some tutorials on adding text elements to your maps in a documentary/Johnny Harris style. Such as dates for historiacal maps or short sentences giving some context on whats particularly shown on the screen. Thank so much!

    Hello sir,
There are many things I have learnt through your video. Your lessons are really helpful. Loving it.❤❤
Sir, I was trying to animate two river line "yellow" and "Yangtze" located in "China" with trim path. Unfortunately those river are not in a single line. Hence the animation acts as multiple. Would you like to make a tutorial video on it please.
By the way, love from India ❤❤❤

    Hi, Boone
I am about to join the membership as your videos and tutorials are fascinating!
I don't have Geolayers3 yet and I am about to purchase it, but I am worried if my laptop works well with it.
It is a MacBook Air m1 chip (8-Core CPU, 7-Core GPU,8GB Unified Memory, 256GB SSD Storage) basically it is really the basic spec haha.
Do you think it works well?
Or can I purchase Geolayers 3 and re-download it to another computer if I buy a new one with the better specs?

    • @BooneLovesVideo
      @BooneLovesVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hey Sangmok, yeah your system should be fine. You can do things to optimize your workflow and make it easier on your computer. I’m making a video about that soon. You can also naturally get GEOlayers on any new system you buy. Not sure how many computers you can install it on at the same time, but there’s no issue getting it setup on a new system.
