    The basic panning features of Handy Cam for free just parent your camera to a null and animate the null position.

    Hey Boone, thanks so much for sharing this. With Handycam, do you know if it's possible to circle/fly/orbit around a POI on a map? In AE proper, I use a null and null-parented camera, tilt the Null's X rotation 45º, and animate the last number of the Null's Orientation parameter. I only have a trial version of Handycam and haven't figured how to do that with Handycam. Perhaps the trial version has some limitations that get unlocked when you purchase?

    • @BooneLovesVideo

      Orbiting always seems to be a headache. Let me play around and see if I can come up with something simple via HandyCam.

    hey man, wondering if you can pull focus with this - so if I have focus locked to a layer is there anyway of THEN moving focus ?! Thanks

    Hi :) I just bought the plugin. Do you know why I dont see the "camera red "triangle" " that is projected in the camera view? It will only show if I have the camera layer selected. But I see you shy the camera layer. If I have the null object controller selected, I can use the camera controls but the camera view wont show the camera projection. How can I fix it?

    • @BooneLovesVideo
      @BooneLovesVideo  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmmmmm, are you trying to see the camera projection in the default camera view?

    • @gastikirs
      @gastikirs 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BooneLovesVideo Yes, I have activated 2 views, one of them is the "Classic 3D". Selected "left" but I can't see the projection unless the camera layer is selected (highlighted). If I select the null object it won't show the projection.

    • @gastikirs
      @gastikirs 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      All this without even touching any settings, just took a null object, applied the handycam effect, click setup, and that's it.
      I have AE 24.0.3

    Hey there, thanks for sharing, a question, since create null from path is not working well with 3d, I just tried your method, key frame from path and paste it to position in a new null, the thing is how can I slow the path for certain focus ? The way you have shown in the video prolongs the total duration but cannot make some spot focus in the time, for example, I want to go from point A to D but in the middle, when reaching point B I want to focus 5 seconds and when point C 5 seconds more than continue with the same speed.

    How do you get the camera in the top down view to be permanently visible? I lose it every time i click off the camera layer.
