Rashford is still in Year 1 of a 5 year contract making 350K per week. It does not matter who the coach is. United are going absolutely no where as long as any manager at United keeps trying to shoehorn him into the team. I genuinely believe there has been something going on behind the scenes that has forced manager after manager at United to keep starting Rashford. Because any sane and objective observer can see he offers absolutely nothing to the game when not scoring goals. Rashford needs to go. And these pundits need to stop trying to pretend like Rashford is some world class talent waiting to be unlocked by some mythical manager. He’s now played under 5 managers at United and is 26 going on 27 early next season.

There literally hasn't been a single player signed post-Ferguson who has increased their value. At best, Daley Blind roughly maintained his value and Bruno probably will; that is, if Utd had to sell him tomorrow, they'd probably get back what they paid for him. Players who had no problem turning it on for title, Champions League and World Cup-winning sides, before and after they played for Man Utd, all diminished wrecks.

I’d keep the three youngsters, Dalot, Martinez (assuming he can get over this injury issue), Shaw (for one more season and cross fingers he stays fit), Bruno (for now to see how he slots in a new system), Rashford (if the incoming manager thinks he can get a tune out of him), Diallo and Mount.

Apart from the obvious ones mentioned to stay; I would keep Martinez as he deserves one more season but must prove fitness over an entire season. Bruno is a petulant character but his importance since he signed cannot be understated. Dalot stays. Varane would be good to stay if he can get over his injury issues. Rest I say need upgrading. Well......... Arteta got rid of our so called "£350, 000 a week superstars" in Auba and Ozil so Ten Hag can do it if he wants, it won't be the end of the World if the manager decides to get rid of players like Rashford and Sancho, especially if they're a problem within the dressing room.
