Unfortunately, because it has a version of iOS that existed before the end-to-end encryption was a thing, your iPad doesn't have the software to be able to be a part of that end-to-end encryption. The two cannot co-exist, as all that iPad sees is gobbledygook and it physically is incapable of receiving the encryption keys to un-gobbledy the gook. You can only either have Advanced Data Protection enabled or have that iPad signed into your Apple ID. If you're able to update it, do it. If your iPad does not support the latest versions, you're kinda out of luck and need to disable it to be able to sign in.
Too bad I can't do the " Advance data protection " on my iPhone 13 Pro Max cause my wife have a Samsung s21 ultra and I can't go further with the configuration.
And now, I can’t update ANY apps because I can’t log in to my Apple account. So the apps that I paid for are useless to me now. Thank you very much! I am pissed. Does the Advance Data protection set on updated phone protect a older trusted device phone or laptop ?
