My wife and I just bought a used 2012 Jeep Compass latitude 60,000 miles. We're looking to put in 2 & a half lift kit. Are the Amazon rough country lift kits give us a true up grade capability?
Congrats on your new purchase! It is definitely an upgrade over stock but if is just a leveling kit you might hear all the bumps like I did in mine. Don’t quote me on that I’m not sure if it was only on mine but it’ll definitely look way better with the lift than without it. Hope this helps 🙌🏻

Go to tiresize.com go to offset calculator. First know your oem wheel size, offset and tire size you have now. Then add a bigger tire and wheel offset. It will show you the wheel offset and tire comparison to the one you want. Basically you have to do the math...
So how much did you spend total on parts? And are you in Illinois, could use some of your guys that helped you on your install... but really quickly was looking through all the posts and I seen something that confused me.. you said the RC 2 inch lift doesn't work for the 2 wheel drive? Only 4x4 models?
So I spent almost a grand on everything. We are in Texas man sorry. And honestly I’ve seen other people say that it does fit the 2 wheel drive models so you should be okay.
@@jluna99 I'm running the 245s now. On tight turns, they rub 50% of the time. For mellow tread, it's ok. If you ran mean mud or studs, it would tear it up.

Dakoda Vanquakebeke I’m running 30x9.5 15s and I had to hammer the inner metal lining that is located inside the fender well. Unfortunately it still rubs but not as bad as before, I’m going to try different cuts to see what works best for it! Thanks for tuning in though

Most definitely man! Not a bad suv! I love it took it to the dunes here and it did awesome. Maybe not in the big ones but normal rocky places and small hills it’ll do just fine

Cris P yea you can notice a little squeaking of the rat struts but not that bad, maybe I just need new struts, alignment is a little bit dialed to the right, that’s as best as they could get it and no problems with cv! Don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the follow up video

Stetson&Spurs it’s been holding pretty good, a lot of noises coming from the strut assembly I’ll make a follow up video here pretty soon. But so far so good.

@@RallyWrex915 Check out the new Yokohama Geolander M/T's in 225/65R17. My patriot came with 225/60R17 stock and I found these in a mud tire size. looks awesome! Im sure they make them in another stock size your looking for that wont rub.

The actual vehicle appears level across, BUT...there is more front wheel well exposure compared to the back. At least an inch difference (i.e. you can see more of the shocks in front). Is this normal? Or should I take it back to the shop?

I believe that the stock wheels are 16 or 17 inch in diameter! Mine are 15 so these are smaller wheels. They still scrape a lil though
