Heater fan in my Renaukt Scenic mk3 stopped working. Replacing the resistor didn't work but eventually got it working without taking the whole motor out.
Brilliant, saved me a bit of hassle. I was on the verge of buying a new resistor but this made sense. The fans were working when I bought the car but it's been sat in the garage for a month so when I finally drove it they weren't working. Was able to free it up just by reaching through the resistor hole.
@@raguccy yeah all great now I replaced the fan regulator (located under the left side of the dash, had to remove the top dash (right hand drive)) and the blower motor located under and behind the glove box. I found both on eBay. Hope it helps.
