Does the Spanish residence visa also apply to stock and forex traders who make money in the financial markets but move around while trading?

Thank you for the helpful breakdown! I've known 3 people that have tried to get Spain's digital nomad visa in the past year and have been repeatedly denied. Have you or anyone else found some underlying difficult with obtaining this?

Thanks so much for this video! Okay so I have a few questions...
    1. Is it true that applying from within Spain will lead to a 3 year initial visa rather than a 1 year visa?
    2. Can I use my UK limited company rather than an end client to apply with as a proof of employment? Do I need to write a letter to myself effectively or do I need to show end clients?
    3. As I understand it I can pay tax in the UK through the limited company, how much more tax will I end up paying on top of this in Spain? 24% on top of UK tax would be a huge burden. Roughly speaking how does the double taxation work under this scenario?
I think you missed out that as well as health insurance you need to pay Spanish social security too. Thanks again!

The problem with Spain especially for “7 and 8 figure investors” is that the wealth tax will make Spain’s cost of living higher than Zurich or Southern California. We are selling our house in Spain because we realized we can never live there due to 1.5% (up to 3.5%) annual net wealth tax. It’s horrible
