Congratulations on doing such a great job so far, I bet most professional restorers would be pleased with the result. I look forward to following your progress on your epic project.
Hello you two! Well you've certainly brought a smile to my face. I like the presentation style really do. I love the laid back style.. I will watch you with interest Keep smiling David.
Hello both. I hope you don't mind that I watched this episode sped up a bit as I used it as a re-test on what has gone before. I think I might just have scraped a pass. You two got top marks. Well done!!
Just come across your vids and have to say what a great achievement and such a great attitude you both have .. a pleasure to watch and i will be viewing all your instalments … smile per mile viewing
Thanks, Julian, that means a lot to us. We have had a break from the truck build and videos while we move out of our house and into a caravan (as you do!) but we plan to be getting back to our regular uploads very soon now so stay tuned and thanks again for following 😎
What a fabulous job indeed ! .... Now subbed to a channel, that brings back memories of my dats working at a Bedford truck dealership in Sheffield, thank u2 ! .... looking forward to the next update.
Hiya guys have just found your channel am a new subscriber jusy wayched the video so enjoyed it will watch the full videos an awesome restoration on the cab well done keep up the amazing work ❤
Hi 👋🏻 Thanks loads for following and subscribing. The restoration has been a long haul but we’re really making progress with the chassis now. Shouldn’t be TOO long before we can reunite the cab and the chassis and see the whole thing back together again! 👍🏻😎
Yay! All that work!!!!!!!! Well done, keep going. If you were doing either the film project (planning, filming, editing etc) or the restoration alone it would be impressive. That you doing both simultaneously a feat. The just rewards starting to appear on the horizon :-)
Hi guys, I have sen a couple of different parts of this adventure, I have now subscribed as I want to see how the TK comes out, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍👍👍
@@OldRopeSalvage not certain what the trucking is like in New Zealand these days, as I have not lived there for nearly twenty years, but I would assume there are still a lot of older trucks on the road, best regsrds from a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍👍
Whats not to like about a TK/MK cab, they are an absolute iconic design. It looks like you are doing a fabulous job. I currrently have one chassis and three cabs, and a lot of new parts, some of which I have discovered will not fit my TK as they are actually for an MK, they will be looking for a new home at some point.
Thank you. Yes, we searched for quite a long time to find the right vehicle for our project. We got pretty lucky with this one. It was in reasonable shape, but there is always more work involved than you might hope for!

Loving your channel. Can't wait to go back through the old videos. You two are amazing. Fame beckons

Thanks for subscribing 👍🏻 Sounds like there are a few Bedfords kicking around New Zealand from what we’ve been told 🚚

We're missing a hinge from one of the engine bay cover panels so if you have a spare one of those ...
Great job, well done. I am looking for a TK, MK or MJ now but not easy to find a good one at a reasonable price.

Old ‘N’ reg was August ‘74 to July ‘75 and the truck was deffo 1975. We got the docs 😉👍🏻
Strange enough a lot off long front and short fronts came to the caribbean ,there are still many on the roads still
Maybe less chance of getting rusty in the Caribbean climate so great longevity on old metal.
