Congratulations on achieving this milestone. I have enjoyed every video you have uploaded over the last two years and they have helped me greatly on the two year journey that I have been on. Received confirmation this week that I am in remission, and we are taking a leap of faith and putting down a deposit for a holiday in Europe next year. Great things are on the horizon for all of us 🎉
This is possibly the greatest comment we have ever had on our videos. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful news. I (Lisa) am now a 19 year cancer survivor. There have been a few ups and downs for me over the years but a lot of living has been had and hopefully a lot of living for both you and me to come. When I was pronounced in remission in 2006, the first thing I did was to book a 3 month trip to Australia. Best thing I ever did. You will have an amazing time in Europe, I’m sure. All the best to you and thank you for following our videos, we are so happy they have helped during your own journey. 🌞😊
So pleased the blasting is all done! Although I wouldn’t be shocked if in a few months time while building the body, Tim turns to camera and says “I might just give this part a quick sand blast”…… Well done guys, so many milestones!
Hi Tim and Lisa hope your both keeping well, the progress you have both made on the truck is amazing, the truck is coming together nicely and I’m looking forward to seeing the cab being put back on. Very impressed with the white wall on the tyres. Your doing a smashing job and as always I’m looking forward to seeing your next videos 😄😄
Looking good with the engine back in. Where possible I normally change out the clutch pressure plate thrust/pressure bearing as if it goes, then its gearboxes out to replace it.
Hi guys, you are continuing your extremely great work on the truck, looking forward to the next update, take care guys and keep safe and well best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Just epic you two... well done....ok ok , "well done" doesn't really cover the enormity of this epic journey..I don't know what could. Only you both will ever truly know what it took and perhaps that's the beauty if it all....that bit at the end Lisa where you referenced the 6 weeks of sandblasting... I HEAR YOU...there is something powerful there but hard to define. Here's the best way I can think of , at least for now. I'm a few months in to a build project. It's involved more days than planned of very physical work with a hand-held electric cement breaker (aka pneumatic drill) and sledge-hammer....my body has taken a beating frankly. There were days as I put my boots and goggles on and headed out with Sidney (my sledgehammer) to turn big rocks in to little rocks for 7 hours at a time that I felt deranged. BUT...I did it. Thngs changed (including me, physically, the back just about survived and I am leaner and stonger). Perhaps most significntly I have learnt a new skill, one that can't really be certified. I learnt how to wield a sledgehammer. This morning at 8am I had to break up a large area of concrete to accomodate a post for a lintel and gate. A few weeks back this would have filled me with dread. Not now., I OWNED it. I took out a 1x5m 150mm thick slab of concrete in 30 minutes...because I knew how to hit it and where to hit it...because I spent 4 back-breaking days doing the same. Tim's work comes from YEARS of effort. No bullshit documentation or cerfification from anyone can accredit that weight of apprenticeship. You as well Lisa have grabbed a learning curve by the jowels and powered through. I don't doubt that all and any followers here in awe of your achievements, perhaps the biggest of these to just keep going ! If this series of superb moving-image productions doesn't at least become obligatory viewing for anyone wanting to achieve anything, then I don't know what will. Bx
About the wheels. If you replace them with some other wheels, you can always sell old ones. Restored they have much more value. So i think the time spent on them is worth a while.
Thank you 😎 Yes, we do still have LPG although availability has been vastly reduced from a few years ago in favour of electric (not something we can afford!) Choices are limited and it seems impossible to ‘future proof’ so we’re just going with what seems best for now.

Haha! 😅 You know it will happen!
So, so proud of you two.. Have to say, Tim is a very brave man indeed. If that engine was to fall (God forbid) that would have been Goonight Vienna...
Thank you 😎 … I THINK Tim had it safely under control, but there is always an element of peril around here for sure 😅
Well done Tim, what a journey!
Indeed! 😅

Thanks, Alex 😎 We are all looking forward to the cab going back on. Getting close now!

Cheers for the advice 😎

Thanks, Les 😎🚚🤟🏻
Great work folks almost there now
🙏🏼😅
Proper job👍 hope you keep the wheels, the Bedford looks the part with it's split rim wheels 😊
I think that whatever we do with the wheels, we’ll make sure it’s in keeping with the Bedford truck style 😎🚚👌🏻
@@OldRopeSalvage great news, I thought you would

Thank you, Barns, for this epic ‘comment’. Don’t know what else to say really, except your words are vastly appreciated. Thank you.

Absolutely 😎
Awesome work Tim 👏
Coming together well 👍
Are you going to fire it up to check alls OK before putting the cab on ?
Cheers Tim 🍺🍺
Cheers, Tim 🍻 Indeed, yes, I am hoping to get her fired up before putting the cab back … Hopefully not too long now 🤞🏻
Awesome well done 👍 just asking does the uk still have LPG liquid petroleum gas
Thank you 😎 Yes, we do still have LPG although availability has been vastly reduced from a few years ago in favour of electric (not something we can afford!) Choices are limited and it seems impossible to ‘future proof’ so we’re just going with what seems best for now.
