Hey i purchased them from www.solotica.co.uk , the lenses cost £55 with free delivery. The lenses always arrive between 2-3 days however all four lenses i purchased arrived the next day. I know right! Crazy how expensive the shipping is for certain companies, lol im so glad i found solotica uk so i could fund my contact lens habit without feeling guilty! But anyhoo yes the avelas are defitnetly my faves, if i was you i would stay clear of the ocres they are simply so unnatural and unrealistic. The avelas are a light brown with a subtle dark green undertone. Sometimes they can look a dark grey depending on the lighting. The ocres are also light brown but they are soo light they make you look washed out. The colour really is off, they look gray under certain lighting but not a nice gray more like a cloudy colour , makes you look like you have cataracts in your eyes. The worst part is they're not even a nice light brown colour more like a yellowy brown colour really awful. However interestingly when i take pictures of the ocres on a more hd camera like the canon it doesnt look yellow it looks like a grey brown. But in real life and on normal android/iphone cameras it looks horrid. Thats why the ocre looks nice on all these yt videos because the camera is usually an expensive hd one. Of course some people it actually does look nice but ive also heard too many people complaining about how horrible they look too. So ultimately its your choice but personally i think avela is a natural realistic light brown, ocre is unnatural makes you look like a zombie and gives you yellow eyes like michael jacksons in the thriller video! x

I received them quite fast too. Ordered on the 16th and received in New Zealand by today 24th. They are pretty ordinary tbh. They look natural enough but not pretty. I wish they had specs of green in them since they are meant to be hazel but they don't. I think Desio Caramel Brown is a prettier hazel. I might try some of their other colours. They are very comfortable to wear though so I like that :)

I wore them for a day the avela hydrocor and I actually change my mind. They are so beautiful and natural too. They are extremely comfortable to wear as well. I will try the other colours eventually but I love this colour now. No-one looks at me to see if my eyes are real. They look so natural. Worth every penny :)

I have the natural colours avela, they are very natural and comfortable. It's a light brown color with a thin Limbal ring which is barely noticeable. I recommend the nc than the hidrocors because it makes your eye look bigger and the hidrocor makes your eye smaller especially if you have small irises.

Paranalentes told me that avela/hazelnut and ambar/amber are the old opacity ocre (avela) and Mel (ambar). The new Mel's are very green and the new ocre is super grey now. I asked them if they will come out with the old opacity quartzo because the new ones look very fake! I also emailed Solotica too!

Thank you for the video. They look so natural on your eyes how? they are a little bit big on my eye. At night when I wear them they made me tear a lot. Can't handle them one hour sometime at night. I don't why It did that last week to me, but the days before they were good may be because I used to use a contact lens drop!

But I am a bit confused why Solotica made a brighter version of mel instead of a more subtle version. The lenses are bright enough to start with. Would have been great with a natural and subtle green instead.

Hi Vartika, you described the Amber as similar to Crystal but other TH-camrs are describing it as yellow/green/brownish tone. The Amber I see in your video has a more grayish/greenish tone. Is your lighting true to color? I'm honestly confused as the lens looks different on every TH-camr (on most of them it look like a green/brownish tone). Can you please describe the color?

+gigi McIntyre All three are my favourite. On camera, Graphite comes off better. Amber looks amazing in person. Hazelnut is just a light brown .. so not too much of a drastic change but still good for those days I want to wear an extremely natural colour :)

Hello Vartika. I have already ordered my lenses, and I can't wait till they get here. i have been using Air Optix green and they are pretty natural, but barely noticeable. My friend says that once I get my new contacts, my make up will not look the same or it may clash... Could you please do a makeup tutorial for Ambar?? I watched all your great videos on solotica lenses ..saved some money for the past 4 months and went ahead and purchased the hydrocor amber lenses from parana lenses to get the discount and Saturday after picking them up from the post office..surprise!!the bottles were sealed with a clear liquid and no lenses...!!!i was supposed to wear them for a wedding Friday and as of today I haven't heard back from them ..I am extremely disappointed and afraid of loosing my money. have you ever had any issues with them??
Did you look carefully? Sometimes it may seem like there's nothing in there because the lenses look transparent. Once you empty the bottle and pour the liquid in your hands, the lens comes out.

+Kathy Star My preference might be different from yours so don't take my word for it :) But in my opinion, Amber is more natural on myself. I liked last year's Mel opacity quite a lot but I think Mel's have been changed and look more "yellowy" now so I think Amber is better

+astrid bubble Well every contact looks different on different people despite them having the same complexion. On myself, I like Ocre in Natural Colours because it's a very subtle change. I haven't tried Natural Colours Grey but I'm sure it's amazing. Amber and Hazelnut are also very nice!

I've the hazelnut, on my medium brown eyes they look like a light brown with slight hazel green tones. Under certain lighting they look more green but mostly a light brown/hazel.
+butifulrider I think NC is more natural ... but Hidrocor will also do the trick. The colours are the same. Just, NC has a dotted line and Hidrocor doesn't

I have both myopia and astigmatism... but do know they correct myopia, but I'm not sure about astigmatism... It would be awesome if they could correct both! +hasana shines Amber is not a green. It's more like a Cristal with greenish shades ..but it's really natural. If you want Deep green, look into Marine or Esmeralda. But do your research well :D

I own the mels but they are too bright for my preference, is Amber a bit darker and more real looking? mels can look a bit fake at times. You compared amber to crystal but crystals are sooo light, I want something darker than the mels but at the same time I want that greenish hazle color, I don't like ocre though... +Mahreen Al'hussain Mels and Amber are not alike. Amber is not a green. It's like a Tan colour with greenish hue. It's hard to explain because the camera does not pick up on the true colour of Amber. The best way to explain it is... On myself, Amber looks like a very natural and subtle Cristal with tanned tones and very slight green tones.

Go with the avelas. I was in the same situation and have been with mels for two years and after finally getting avela I'll never go back. A big enough difference on dark brown eyes yet such a nice grey/brown/green color that looks natural in any light, any makeup.
Remember, with ice, its very bright and out there. The amber is much more subtle. The hidrocr cristal is closest to the grey colors. Hidrocor grey is a dark grey while cristal is lighter grey. And the ice is a very light blue.

My biggest and most urgent question !! I'm hesitant between getting hidrocor Mel or hidrocor Amber . Which is more of a natural green ? I'm scared Mel is going to look extremely bright on me because I'm very light in skin color . Would you say Amber is more of a deeper/darker green than Mel ?

I just received Hidrocor Amber and when I put them in the lens case they look tan not green. I haven't put them in yet, maybe that's just how they look when they're not in your eyes? Also, how long should I soak them in saline before putting them in?

Hodrocor is the most natural looking lenses. All are beautiful colors, depends on your taste. Ocre is hazelish, mel is greenish. And amber is similat to that color field as well.

I wanna buy solotica for a month now but I can't decide 😕 should I get nc cristal or hidrocor quartzo when I ask seller she said go for nc color but u and some otherpeople say that hidrocor look more natural I have dark brown eyes please help what should I do 😥😘
+nil lord Hey :) do what you think is right. Don't get influenced. You know yourself the best and you will be able to make the best judgement for yourself. NC is nice but I'm not a big fan. NC Cristal makes me look like a zombie. I wish I could help you out but this is something you have to think about for yourself :)

iam olive skin brown eyes girl:) honestly go for hidrocor it's way natural I got the Ocre sooo beautiful,the Quartzo was not my color personally but everyone skin is different and what they like. .now iam stock with them... only tried one lense...just got them 4 days ago if anyone is interested let me know I'll sale them free shipping :)

Big mistake it made me look like a zombie . Gosh I thought all the money wasted. So now I'm going to buy the Amber hope it looks as beautifull in me . I have medium brown eyes.
