Hunter 350, Delkevic Exhaust - Drive By Sound (225mm Oval)

  • The straight-through pipe with the 225mm Oval silencer / muffler is quite loud but not obnoxiously so. Apart from freeing up the engine, there has also been a significant improvement in terms of mileage and fuel economy.
    Currently, the bike has 5058 miles on the clock.
    When fitting the exhaust, I found this Video from Delkevic really helpful, as it showed how to get a good seal and what torque setting to use on the supplied nuts and bolts: Delkevic Sport Exhaust Muffler Kit Fitting Guide

    This Hunter 350 has the following performance modifications:
    DNA stage 2 Air Filter,
    Delkevic Exhaust System with 9" / 225mm Oval Silencer ( DeCAT ),
    FuelX to modify Lambda Sensor Output and smooth out low speed performance,
    PS, the freed up engine now spins up so eagerly that you can hear whenever the Hunter's rev limiter kicks in.
    Mitas MC50 tyres
    Hagon shock absorbers with progressive springs.
    The original rear shocks were far to stiff, exaggerating every defect in the road, so I replaced them with Hagons. They give a much more pleasant and reassuring ride, but do occasionally bottom out on some of the extremely bumpy local roads of South West Ireland where I live.
