    I wish I had a time machine so I could go back in time and watch this attraction in person 🤣

    The bit where he starts screaming at the audience and then says thank you always made me laugh

    Woah the way 9-eyes floats around was actually pretty impressive for it’s time, and it still is today honestly, Timekeeper himself looks cool too

    I'll never forget seeing this attraction in 2000. I walked in thinking it would be another run of the mill circle vision 360 film. I was pleasantly mistaken. I loved this attraction and was lucky enough to visit it many times that year. WDI elevated circle vision 360 into something fun and interesting. Maybe even educational. The humor, the visuals and especially the music were all top notch.

    So HAPPY you posted this! I used to work right there in 1998 and it was my favorite part of my workday being the Timekeeper's assistant! Management even allowed me to interact with the timekeeper & Nine Eye during the shows, and guests told me the show flowed much better!

    I think instead of getting rid of old rides, Disney should build a museum at one of their hotels somewhere that honors attractions/rides like this.

    Thank you for posting ALL the videos you have posted. Your videos completely transported me to my first visit to Disney world at age five with my father in 1985. I visited two other times. But your videos awoke feelings that I long thought gone. What a wonderful experience to revisit these feats of imagination! And how sad what Disney has become.

      Or like what they did for michael Jackson with captain EO and have it around a few years as a tribute to a great... guess Michael Jackson was far more popular than him and that it was far cheaper

    • @itsreelydalin
      @itsreelydalin 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ThiccTropius Sadly it's just about the differences in complexity between the two. It's one thing to put back a film reel into a theater and give it a remaster, but its a whole other thing to re-construct an entire attraction building again and repair the animatronics that may have been destroyed (possibly - can't confirm.)

    • @ThiccTropius
      @ThiccTropius 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@itsreelydalin I can agree with that... the screens were obviously painted over and like you said the animatronics possibly destroyed... but if they kept the animatronics, I would be happy with a d23 exclusive to give tribute with a Time keeper experience! It was a type of attraction that can really be taken anywhere... even in a portable theater!

    • @itsreelydalin
      @itsreelydalin 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Brock LaPlume that would be amazing! I do wish they acknowledged some sort of tribute to this ride/his passing

    • @ThiccTropius
      @ThiccTropius 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@itsreelydalin agreed! darn shame they did it with michael jackson (a man who worked disney once but was a huge fan and frequented the parks) but not robin williams (a man who not only worked more than once at the parks with the time keeper and video narration for the animation tour that was at hollywood studios... not only did he frequent the parks during his off time... but also gave us one of the MOST ICONIC DISNEY CHARACTERS EVER PUT TO FILM!!!!!)
