5 Rooks in a Tree - Crows in Watercolor

- An 18 minute instructional video in realtime and time-lapse of Doris Ettlinger's watercolor demonstration of painting crows in a variety of poses perched in a dead tree top. The demo includes a variety of techniques and tips on the behavior of pigments and color mixing. Music by Ben McFadden.
Originally recorded in June 2020 for the Musconetcong Watercolor Group.
Pigments used in the painting include Winsor Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Quinacridone Gold, Winsor Green, Ultramarine Blue, Permanent Rose and Yellow Ochre.
Painted on a 140lb Cold Press Arches block.
Brushes: Davinci mop, Silver Black Velvet rounds, Lowe Cornell synthetic round, and a rigger brush.
