Capture the iridescent feathers of a black raven in watercolour. The lovely reference image is from unsplash.com (photographer - Meg Jerrard) www.shelleyprior.com Instagram & Facebook - Shelley Prior Fine Art
I love this. I’d love to see a close up of your finished raven. The way you captured the ravens iridescent feathers was beautiful. Your lessons are just great. Thankyou for sharing your talents with us
I started following you in Instagram, from there I got the link of your TH-cam channel. Thank you very much for this tutorial, hope to see more from you♥️♥️♥️
Shelly Thank you , I really love you teaching , you are so generous with your knowledge on water color. I’ve been learning a lot . I’m a pastel & oil artist but just love watercolor too . Waiting to understand how not to reactivate watercolor after it’s dry?? From Idaho
Thank you very much. Not reactivating the first layers is a matter of drying thoroughly and being very gentle with subsequent layers. Playing will get you into trouble once the first layers start softening up again with water. Plan, paint quickly and leave it alone. In other words - get in and get out!
We have ravens in Australia, and they are definately black, with blue eyes . We also call them scavengers, because they will get into your waist bin and eat garbage .
I am signed into TH-cam and can make comments on other postings but can never post on yours so that's why I always post in this location, hope that makes sense :)
