- Out trip to Egypt in October 2023, We were able to see all the greatest hits including the Pyramids, the museum in Cairo, Karnak and Luxor. The cruise boat was a very stylish way to travel around and made the whole trip very relaxing compared to our India one!

We went with Mercury Travel. It was excellent. It’s the second time we used one of their accompanied trips (India before) and they were both excellent

We went for 2 weeks at the start of October. 10 days of touring then a few days at the resort.
The Hamas thing happened while we were there so we were quite pleased to be coming back. To be honest we didn't see any change when it happened. There were already search points and armed police/army at the temples anyway
How hot was it during October ?
it was 28 degrees when we were there but we didn't really notice the heat. It wasn't very humid so was OK. The only day I struggled was in the Valley of the Kings but even then you spent a lot of time underground!
