Great comparisons. I had Kling Premiere plan (8000 credits per month) but ran out of credits after creating 5 or so videos that are usually 2+ mins long with multiple different scenes. I'm going to go with Runway's unlimited plan. If Kling ever decides to release an unlimited plan, I'll swap back to Kling.
How did that go? I did great shots with kling. Now with runaway iam having hard time. It is not good. Almost 90 generations to have no more tham 5 not soo good options. I fell like i trashed 100 bucks
Great video! Just to clarify, you can technically specify an End Frame in Runway too; you just have to choose between using a Start frame or End frame, without an option currently to have both. So when you upload the image you can choose to just set it as the End Frame in the toggle option below the image. (Though so far I haven't gotten great results from doing that). I also noticed that the default resolutions that these programs use is different, for example Runway videos were 1280x768, while Luma's were 1360x752, might matter to some people, especially if you are using videos from multiple programs, just keep in mind the difference in sizes. It would be nice if the other players offered unlimited plans, because if you are working on very long projects only Runway is viable right now.
At last, somebody who tells things how they really are. I have been using Rynway and kling on the premium tier on both and after hundreds of trials and errors in each on them I stopped my Gen3 subscription and I only will use Kling from now on. It's way better in my opinion in almost every aspect. Gen3 sometimes needs 4, 5 or more prompts to actually have something usable but not really good. Kling understands prompts much better, doesn't necessitate to do a dozen prompts to have a good result, sometimes on the first try it's near perfect, it accepts all kind of image ratios without the need to crop like in Gen3, etc. I'm so glad to have tested extensively both of them, cause now I'm truly sure to make the right choice choosing Kling.
I also prefer Kling over Gen3. I wish they had the unlimited video generation plan available as Gen3 does, but I agree entirely about Kling getting the prompt right much sooner than what is capable with Gen3. Getting animated characters to walk with Gen3 is difficult, but Kling does a much better job with 3D characters.
Hey man Ive been following you for 3 hours now and Im already making some good content but this video really gave me the answer to a question Ive been asking myself for years and that was I cant wait until they make a program that is this detailed as to what you really want and I thank you for classes because you taught me so much in so little time
Great video (as usual), tried all of them, same experience, Kling is for me the one to go, especially in combination with midjourney. What I missed were some of the extra features like motion brush or lipsync, which is also an available feature e.g. in Kling. Keep up the great work, greetings

Also I've been using Pixverse and have made some great videos there but Pixverse gives you a lot of junk along the way. I'd like to try a better tool.

It was mentioned a few times, but as someone who subscribed to Runway on the unlimited plan for one month, it bears repeating. Runway will moderate (generation blocked) when you try to use text, and also randomly at other times when not using text. These are incorrect moderations that will force you to abandon whatever you just tried to use, it's never going to work. The amount of time I wasted on that made me unsubscribe. It was much worse than just inconvenient, they have a real problem.
Agreed, I am 8 days so far using Runway's Unlimited Plan, paying monthly, and it clearly has a lot of issues. Gen-3 was RUSHED, and they false advertise their product, as it is very difficult or near impossible to get some of the results they showcase. They didn't even respond to my email, either. I'll probably be going with Kling by the end of this month or next month, unless Runway updates within the next several weeks.
Looks like they fixed it, now i got flagged only when I accidentally added a close to nsfw image to video where character’s top part was too opened but not visible

Question: does Kling have unlimited like Runway? Also does Kling offer more extension than Runway? Runway I find it stops extending a video after 40 seconds. Excellent comparison!
There is no unlimited plan at Kling. You can get 800 standard quality 5 second videos in the Premier-package for 60$ a month at the moment. Also you could top up with additional credits.
To give another perspective on it. I've been using Lumalabs for a while and just got on Kling as well after watching this. Both have their pro's and cons but in Lumalabs defence I must say that you get a lot of videos for the money! In my case I need to generate some 60-150 videos for every project. Lumalabs is lightning fast compared to Kling. You get videos out in like 10 seconds, while Kling currently takes between 6-30 minutes depending on which model I choose and also on the standard plan I only get like 20 videos (35 credits each) which forces me to go up a tier or wait until credits refresh. That is a blocker for me as I need to iterate faster than that. Kling can create super realistic videos, but Luma does the job well for CGI looking videos. Luma is not as good on animating characters, I often get distorted or unnatural animations, even on simple things like animating a character to walk or do any interaction at all. Kling is clearly better there. Both support blood and gore which I need for my projects while Runway blocked that in my free trial with them.
Great comparison video. Helped me a lot to choose the best one (almost the best one and of course FOR NOW). Klings looks #1 at the moment. The exact time 19:19 in this video is my consideration.

I’m currently on Runway ML’s PRO plan, using the Gen-Alpha 3 model, and I’ve noticed they’re limiting generations every 5-15 minutes. Thanks, this was super useful. I'm working on a short sci-fi film, which is mainly live action, and I have some VFX done traditionally, but AI is enabling me to add shots which are way beyond my budget. Just a little frustrating about how little 'specific' control I'm getting over the final outputs and how inconsistent the outputs are, even using the same prompts. I'm using Kling and I've noticed that when I shift to Professional mode it's chance of poor image to video renderings increases enormously. But persevering (and watching the credit card payments mount up). Thanks for this review in particular, I was considering switching to Runway, but you've convinced me to stay the course with Kling (for now). Cheers!

Is there any ai tool that can allow regular video customization by changing the background? Instead of recording on a green screen, I can record with a regular background and use an ai tool that lets me replace the background on my video?
😎You are Awesome, Man, I really appreciate you and your in-depth work!! Runway user here, but may go with Kling in a month or two, hehe, unless Runway fixes their prompting very soon for much better control and accuracy of human motions, which I am sure they will do before the end of this year. Cheers.
The best comparison on the net !
Are you able to get just text prompts (without adding an image) in Turbo mode in Runway? I'm only able to use just text prompt with Gen 3 Alpha, not Turbo. For me, Turbo only works with uploaded images.
Do you have any suggestions for best AI animated video generators? Thanks for your videos!

Yikes that last video is so creepy 😆
Great vídeo, thanks!! Which one would you recommend for pets? Considering the golden retriever animation or have you done further tests? Still runway?

KLING doesn't support many of my prompts. It's weird. It works best if it's Image to Video.
