I was working on a friend's Jeep last weekend, his electronic sway bar was stuck in the open position, and once we cleaned and lubed everything, I took a good look at that motor that locks and unlocks the sway bar and I was disappointed how cheaply it was made. It was full of plastic, hardly any metal components inside of it. My friend mentioned that it would cost $400 to replace brand new, total ripoff for a cheap piece of chineseum that couldn't even keep the mud out. It was caked in mud, and the factory grease that was used to lubricate the gears of the automatic sway bar seemed bottom shelf quality. They make them this way so that people buy the new Jeep instead of maintaining their old one. They also stopped making this part, I believe even though it's a mid 2015 Jeep
