I put those lights in my 04 379 about 6 months ago. They are amazing.. it was plug a play with some slight mods on mounting them.. I got a few videos on my channel showing them. Biggest reason I did those and not watermelons was the fact I can change colors with a push of the button … 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I love y’all keep saying 589, when these work with 579s too. Might be the best thing peterbilt done is use the 579 cab and sleeper for the new hood truck. Now there’s more aftermarket support
Would you guys know why I wouldn't have any power in my sleeper, beneath bunk, and dome lights. Also radio says check amp fuse. I checked fuses beside foot pedal, underneath bunk and the ones outside cab. All fuses are good. Can you please help me out? This is for a 589 Pete.
@@brianhofer4937 check A9 and A10 fuses for sleeper. As far as the radio goes there may be a software update for that particular issue if the fuse is good.
Factory interior lighting in truck cabs was terrible for years but they have definitely improved. I don't want any lights on at night when I'm driving though except the dash lights and I turn them down. I don't understand the current trend of putting a bunch of big watermelon lights in the cab and sleeper. My RAM pickup has blue accent lighting in certain areas that I do like, but it's very subliminal and there are no visible lights, and I do like blue. Not a fan of red lights anywhere in the interior. There is such a thing as too much light and light that is too bright. The small round lights that are on the new lights are WAY too bright. The flickering before the light turns off would drive me nuts. Every time it did it I would think that there is something wrong with the light. I'm guessing like most things today, the housing is plastic ?
The interior of that truck is amazing.

The best two color interior lights for night driving is red and green. The military uses green.
Most DEFINITELY
I use green most of time
And they use blue in battleships as well
That looks pretty cool
I got them in my kenworth front and back there great
RED for night driving.
Outstanding 😊
The new lights look cool Red

Awesome ❤ Have you guys ever done an update on the 2 trucks that were stolen?
These actually look like they fit in my T680 also. Or the 579s

@SEMICasualShow they're both good, also truck has 12.4 volts.. Would there be a fuse I'm missing that's not inside any of the fuse boxes?
I mean they should already have them. Same lights as the 579/t680
Exactly
