Started converting a city to a farm, 62 WW and fountain of youth so far, 250 diamonds from those in 18 days, still can fight to 64 GE, and about 50 attrition in gbg
Alabaster has exploded my growth as a forge of empires player. I cant believe i didnt know about it for so long, it really just changed my whole gameplay
Wonderful video as always. I just wanted to emphasize the value of GBG in diamond league, which was briefly touched on. I estimate that I generate roughly 1k diamonds per week. Less than half of them come from my one diamond farm, where I have 100 wishing wells and fountains of youth, and where I finish GE4 each week. More than half of them come from my main world, and almost all of those come from GBG fighting. At 45 diamonds per reward that gives diamonds, and when one does several hundreds of fights per day, the diamond rewards can really add up! Of course, I'm not doing it for the diamonds, and all those fights take a fair bit of time. But I'd be doing those fights anyway, and the happy side effect is a lot of diamonds. My rough rule of thumb, therefore, is being active in top-level GBGs is equivalent to about two well-developed diamond farms.
My biggest problem with GBG diamond-mining is that you often have to rush siege buildings as well, and that can get very expensive, very quickly. If you play in a high level diamond league, such buildings will need to be rushed often, and the more active a fighter, the more they (should) generally share the load of rushing. It costs 125 diamonds just to rush one command post, and you can easily spend 250+ diamonds in a single day. Often times, even if you get around 500 fights in a day, you can easily break even or even lose diamonds overall. It all depends on how your guild plays and whether you ever help rush buildings, but that's been a minor problem for me anyway.
@@JustRideTheVibe You make a good point. The GBG diamond pay off is best when either (1) your guild doesn't have to gem buildings (for instance because you dominate the map anyway, or you're cooperating with other guilds to swap sectors), or (2) some one else is paying to gem the buildings! (like a guild leader) Happily, I'm almost always in one of those two situations, but many people aren't so fortunate.
I recently got my 3 major diamond farms to all have level 80 Chateaus, and after aging them all up a couple of eras (CE to FE) over the last couple of months, I can definitely attest to the incredible amount of diamonds you can generate that way. Between those three farms, I literally made about 5k diamonds in just ONE day from questing, it was unreal. I'm kicking myself, because it took me years to finally get around to building and then leveling the Chateau, so I really missed the boat until recently. Got the level 80+ SV in a couple of those cities and they're helping nicely too, but the Chateau has produced WAY more diamonds in a very short period of time. The catch is that you have to keep aging up for it to be worthwhile (at least in terms of diamond production). Regardless, it's well worth the FP investment even if you decide to delete it for more well space later. *Btw, I didn't realize you could use FoE Helper to see which wells/fountains are producing diamonds, that's amazing! Thank you for that info, now I may have to think about putting a BG in my farms too. Would be easy to find the room if I decide to just delete my Traz at some point.

I started a new city when a new Dutch server opened up. I'm almost in Titan now, then I will convert it to a diamond farm. My idea is to produce and sell Titan goods using event buildings, Frontenac, GE and GBG. The fp can go into my Seed Vault. And of course I place wishing wells, 50 in stock now. Once you start running out of space, just start getting of the worst things in your city. Low level GB, weaker event buildings... I trust you can figure it out :) As for spending diamonds, the best uses are really expansions or events. They give you the best return.
Thanks for the explanation, I had considered a diamond farm, but this has confirmed it isn't for me. The time investment is huge - would have been worth adding a rough time estimate of how many hours a week you'd need to sink to reach lvl 80 Arc and do lvl 4 GE. The video makes that sounds relatively easy, but it's a big hurdle to reach for a secondary city on the side.
It's not that hard with how lucrative events are now in terms of buildings providing daily FP. If you know what you're doing, you could probably be completing GE 4 in a matter of weeks, and have an Arc up within a few months.
@@UBERnerd14 I think that is the crux of it, you do need to know a lot more to be able to progress that quickly. I'm a returning player after about a 4 year break (191 days in) and am still learning new things all the time, your videos help a lot, but that knowledge gap is still potentially quite large for lots of newer players. Guild selection probably warrants a mention too, hard to get lvl 80 Arc without a good guild, and good guilds typically have requirements for being active. I think thats very worth it to get wishing wells faster. One question: How much diamonds per year gives the seed vault at 100? (aproximately)
It's about 400 days of perfect play to break even on completing all Mughal settlements vs just the quests, in terms of fragments completed. You can decide if that's worth it to you :) With 300 aids per day, you can get over 8700 diamonds/year from a level 100 SV. The biggest factor is the number of aids you can do.

Je ne comprend pas . Pourquoi vouloir de l'albâtre, ressource du moyen-âge, quand on est comme moi à l'ère Titan ? ça n'a pas de sens ! ou alors c'est une erreur de traduction.
And light house level 8
Both the hedge maze and crow's nest are inefficient compared to wells, and they are too big to be practical. I suppose they can probably be used as fillers before you get more wells, but I'd in no way be targeting them, and they would be the first to go.
@@UBERnerd14 aha, good point
The aging up is a false Strategie...
Stay as long as you need to reseve Arc& ToR lv 80And got all medal spaces in Ironage then go to EMA build CF 120 BG SV to high Level AND DO pvp Arena and collect 100 wells/foy after these (it will take at least 1 year) go straight up to FE and place wells/foys then ...
Other wise you loose to mutch dias when placing them too early
Aging from FE only if youve got more wells/yof than you can place and wont have any eventbuilding plaeced in your City.
in sam until saj you can fight very well gbg so level up your castel Zeus and Aachener
Give me time for all of that brother :/
yeah sure, level your arc to 80, lol, ALSO NOT an easy or fast task starting from 00000000
Shouldn't take too much longer than 3 months, less if you take out a loan from other players or get higher arc boosts taking spots.
