While I Personally prefer the PlayStation the N64 had some really good games. It is a shame that people only talk about the games made by Nintendo and Rare despite the fact that the system had some good Third party titles.

My favs were Perfect Dark, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Zelda OOT, DK64, Mario 64, 007 (Goldeneye and The World is Not Enough- which I think was actually better than Goldeneye), Diddy Kong Racing, Rainbow Six, Mario Party. Friday nights after school was game night! My friends and cousins would come over and we'd play all night! Fun times :)

It is my pick as the most underrated game on the system and quite possibly even the best. Here goes..... The best rail shooter and maybe just the best shooter... Sin and Punishment. A game everyone must play to complete life.

Myself being a 20-something-year old gamer in the 90s - I had plenty of friends. If we gamed multiplayer, it was on the PC with experiences like Doom/Duke3d/Quake etc. Mario Party and Super Smash Bros were ... essentially kids games to us and we had zero interest in them. The same concept would probably have applied to professional game critics thinking "It's cute but really, this is for kids"

It's for all age groups because it's an amazingly innovative fighter that does things no other game does. Mario Party on the other hand, I suppose I get your point, but that game is definitely fun for adults as well,
The N64 was awesome, so many great games, and it was Nintendo's 1st 3D console graphics, along with the PS1, both were amazing consoles for that time, still fun to this day
It would be nice to capture the footage from the real hardware or at least from an emulator that recreated the original look of the game. Some of those look much worse in HD than they did in a 1990 TV.

I'm a ps boy but i love this console, unfortunately I have never had a chance to play this console. sad how this titles never came out on ps: Goldeneye Conker Mario 64 Mario Kart 64 Banjoo-Kazooie & Tooie Perfect Dark and ofc the 2 zelda game ( espacially Majora. i think that the better ) and this titles not just in this console but the whole videogame history one of the best titles!

I never liked pokemon stadium. It was what pokemon silver would have been had the exploration and rpg parts been removed, but the battles remained and somehow became even slower.
I was too! I remember at the time that I hated it. I thought they had destroyed Castlevania by creating this horrible N64 game after the beautiful PS1's Symphony of the Night. But when I went back to play it for this video, you know...it actually wasn't that bad. Maybe not worth being the top 50, but not as terrible as I remember.
yea it was just "okay" but like you said compared to sotn it was a let down, at the time it was the only franchise that couldn't accurately switch over into 3D for some reason, they didn't get it right until much later, but zelda, mario, and a few others pulled it off effortlessly lol it almost went down in history next to superman 64, i liked it for what it was tho

Quick Question. Do you just not know about the N64 Goemon Games? You have Castlevania 64 here, but not Mystical Ninja starring Goemon, not even in the 100 N64 Games Video. I feel like my Childhood never got the Appreciation it deserves.
