- Let's make Sylvanas/Silvanas! This recipe needs only 6 basic ingredients.
Sylvanas or Silvanas is a frozen cookie sandwich made of cashew-meringue filled with buttercream and dusted with cake or biscuit crumbs.

Please note that the measurements used for this video were only a third of the original recipe and it yielded 8 pieces of Sylvanas.
INGREDIENTS
▢6 egg whites
▢1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
▢3/4 cup granulated sugar
▢1 1/2 cup ground, unsalted cashew
▢1 cup (2 sticks) butter - - softened to room temperature
▢3/4 cup powdered sugar - - sifted
▢2 tablespoons milk - (optional)
▢1 cup sweet biscuit (like Marie or similar) - or cake crumbs - finely grounded

Yes, sure, but not the salted margarine...

You can use vinegar, or just skip it.

Yes but please make sure that these are at least boiled or steamed to remove harmful chemicals.

Cashew has a sweet taste to it. But you can use almond or try peanuts.

I used butter biscuits, like Marie and just crushed it.
