My lenovo thinkpad has 4gb ram and intel i3 but still runs better that that like 120 fps without mods lunar client or and thing that boosts fps

If so one has these specs, you’ll want to get another 8gb stick for less than $10. Then get a ssd for less than $20. For the graphics card upgrade you can get an rx 580/570/560

get a 2550k or a 2600k, buy a used rx 580 and you got a good budget pc

Ddr3 is still very good for its low price these days and can be very good for gaming at dual channel if with a older intel cpu

Bro I got a MacBook Pro 13 Retina from 2013 and I still get with Lunar Client, and a few FPS Mods Avg. 20 FPS and and a horrible input delay…
I think those brands on Amazon just rely on parents with 0 clue about computer parts to look at it and go Yh that looks flashy and professional, I’ll buy that for my child.

THAT I5-2400 is used by the old school computers in the computer lab,
(new school computers use a normal i3-10100)
Now buy a Mac (with a M processor) and run Minecraft on it!
My “old” pc was a Dell optiplex 790 I think and it was kinda cheap too considering the fact it was shipped to me with duct tape around from the top to the front of the case then to the sides and the bottom too because the front of the pc was loosing and almost about to come off and the inside is just well let’s just say it wasn’t good that I expected to be then a few years later in 2023 latest I got my new pc but I wanted to get an custom one instead pre-built one since I don’t trust pre-built pc’s anyone after my last one so I just got the Corsair 4000d airflow atx mid tower case by it self and overtime I’ll get the specs some good specs to make it run well on its performance

Honestly, Lunar Client also lowers my FPS. In OptiFine I get around 450FPS just loading chunks and regualar playing and Sodium for Fabric gives me 800-900 FPS

I have an Optiplex 7010 from Amazon that I got for like $110 and Minecraft is Nothing hard for it to do it comes with an i5 3470 16GB DDR3 in dual channel NO GPU average frames in mc is 60-80 default and I play with optifine and lower settings so for my experience it's around 100-200 fps and I've gotten about 300+ min settings
I bought a used pc for around 50 dollars and swapped the old components with some new ones and it cost me around 110 dollars aswell . And it runs 1
20.1 with sodium and other mods . I get around 150 fps
Do it with lunar client and other options from pc settings and from a mc settings

i think you should try minecraft bedrock edition it will run at 60 fps even on that second gen i5
you can shove it a gpu, swap out that hdd with a ssd and you will have a good experience
Put a ssd or a nvme in there itl be faster and be worth the moneh
I have the same components, i5-2400 and a GT 710 but I have 12 GB of ram ddr3 and a SSD. Maybe you're being limited by the ram only being 8gb of ram and a HDD that is definitely failing. I can get 200+ fps consistently with a bit of OC
I mean on mc my pc can do 30 too but... With 0 lags only at the start a bit of lags but then its running smoothly
I found a pc bundle with monitor, keyboard, mouse, and pc for 123$ it was a refurbished dell work pc, that I don't even know if it had a graphics card

I have the same CPU as the 200$ PC and its still running well, probably because I am running a Windows 10 installation that I have optimized like crazy.
Allmost all PC can run minecraft - example my backup PC
Gt 705 and some Intel pentium 4gigs of ram
150 fps in 1.20.1 1920x1080
Just need some optimization

my pc has almost same specs except it has an i5 and i have a i3 10100F. i get around 150-200 fps on minecraft 1.20.1 with optimization mods and feather client.
edit: it has ddr3 ram and i have ddr4.

I knew it would run. It's i5. And I've played Minecraft on G1610. It *is* 2 years newer yes. But it's Celeron. Like, absolute cheapest option, even below Pentium... And I ran it on iGPU.
No need for pity tho, that was not my PC
in vietnam you can have a rx 560-580 or gtx 960-1050ti with just about $240
8:33 no the hdd (hard disk drive) is not failing what has happened is that the drive has a lower rpm on the platters they suck in like a super slow laptop drive from the modern day but that's what your gonna be expecting with a PC that costs as much as a ps4 in today's money

I india this are considered gud pc for budget even I use Pentium G3250 (4th gen) with 4gb ram and without graphic card but it can run San Andreas some old games and Minecraft in 60fps because of my monitor otherwise it can cause more fps with sodium ;)
ha 30 fps that is really high for my standards, I get 10 fps repeatedly sometimes the game HITS FREAKING 0 FPS
btw I have a laptop with intel i3 so i cant expect much BUT LIKE STILL. The micro stuttering is so common i will be suprised if its not there, I lag even when wifi is normal so yea

i switched from gt 710 to rx 580 2 weeks ago and i think gt 710 is legendary card (btw i was having 200-300 fps with optimisation mods )
