    Glad to see an updated video on this technique! The old video was great, but you are an even better artist and videographer today :^)
    Btw, this technique changed my life and I dont have hooded eyes! Mine are deep set, I have a prominent brow ridge & zygomatic frontal process such that I have some of the same issues that hooded eye folks do. Cant draw a "normal" wing line from the outer corner, stuff transfers from my lash line up to my brow, etc.

    • @AnnettesMakeupCorner
      @AnnettesMakeupCorner  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      🙌 ive def perfected the technique by now, and made it a lot easier and more approachable. It just goes to show that practice is everything when it comes to makeup. Its the tiny subtle tweaks that in the long run make the biggest differences!

    This was Incredible, Annette!! I'm quite a bit older than you, and my hood line (where it meets the outer corner), drops below the outer corner line, and wings never looked right. I'm going to try this and connect to lower lash line, and I think I may be able to wear wings after all!! Thank you so much!! 😊🎉🥂💖🎉

      Yes! Try it! It doesnt matter how far down ur crease extends, its all about faking it and pretending that crease isnt there. Keep ur eyes open when creating the lines and then connect the dots after, you got this!

    Thank you so much for doing this , if I could I could ask for one more it would be the graphic liner look you did in your last Dairy looks video. You had faux freckles and an absolutely fricken awesome liner with no shadows on , imo that look was extremely impactful I instantly tried to do it but of course I failed lol . Idk what exactly made that look just pop but it did it is an extremely flattering look on you , I also have small hooded eyes so when there’s a look that makes our eyes look huge and draws all the good attention to our eyes I’d love to be able to recreate it as best I can. I don’t have natural talent like you so practice practice practice is what i need . If you could possibly show us how you do that I’d be very appreciative of your time, I’m just obsessed with that look there’s just something that pulled me in lol. BTY the liner look is in the first look it’s kinda rounded out and I just can’t figure it out , sorry if I confused you by gushing on n on about the other look I confused myself that’s why I had to come back lol brain fog today so I’m all over the place.

      Tbh you could read the phone book and I’d watch I find you very calming to my hectic brain and you teach some very cool looks , so it’s a win win for me. I hope I’m not the only weirdo that finds some voices very calming and when a person can have the crappy end of the stick and have chronic pain it helps when we can find something that we love mixed in a calming environment idk 🤷‍♀️ I might sound crazy but your videos honestly help me in many ways.

    Hey Annette I apologize if this comments a bit long but I just wanted to let you know I'm so glad you did this. I saw people asking you for it so I figured you would do it when you had the time. I held your eyes which sounds very weird but I paused the video and I held your eyes aside of mine in the bathroom mirror for about 20 minutes. Really studying / comparing the two shapes and we're like almost identical! granted my eyes are much older than yours however, the hood of our eyes are almost identical. And I tried this method. Following your tutorial. I did it! now it came out good it did get a little carried away maybe LOL but yeah I can't wait to share this video with my viewers. My demographics ( per TH-cam anyway ) are from age of 35 to 45. Constantly getting women in my comment section asking me how to do a liner / wing. Seems they're struggling as well due to the hooded eyes. Wanting to do different looks such as this one you did here. I always thought it was such an amazing look and never thought I could get it to work on my eyes. Thank you so very much! ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO! 🙏❤️👍🙏

    Would you say that the green shimmer you’re using is close to the shade Chandelier by Clionadh ? It looks like it’s close but it’s so hard to tell because the cameras just can’t pick up on those types of shades without shining a light as you move around to pick up on everything, I think the shade you used might be more bright green it still has the almost transparent base I could see that as you applied it and moved your head a bit . Chandelier is one of my absolute favorite shades I’ve hit massive pan in mine but that’s not hard as they’re very small pans , I just want to say thank you very much for this video I know it’s not your usual style of video but it’s very much appreciated by those of us with similar eye shapes . It’s a struggle to begin with having hooded eyes we see all these videos and pictures of absolutely beautiful eyeshadow looks and we know there’s no freaking way we could try to recreate them because we just don’t have the space, then there’s all these absolutely beautiful shimmers I want to bathe my eyes in but then I finish the look and it’s hardly visible. With this shape the shimmers are much more visible because I can pull the shadow up higher and it not look like just transfer , so thanx for taking the time to show us how to do this I know I very much appreciate it.

    Hi, you know, a lot of uploaders talk about their eye shapes or other's eye shapes, and I never knew there was a difference. I never knew about eye shapes until this year when I started getting back into make up. I think it's very sad when someone says that their eyes make them look a certain way or feel a certain way about themselves. I think that you are beautiful as well as your eyes. I think that you do amazing eye shadow as well as your full face of make up. There are plenty of things that I dislike about me but my eyes are the exception. Kids would always make fun of my eyes or call me Chinese eyes and I'm not Chinese; not that being Chinese is a bad thing, but they did it out of meaness. My eyes, are almond and probably hooded, but that's the only part of me that I can I like. Sorry the message got long.

      I totally agree. I like my eyes, but that doesnt mean i cant make them ‘look better’. Just like i chose silhouettes and styles in my clothing that makes me feel good in my body. Doesnt mean i dont like how my body looks, i just prefer the way certain items look on me over others. U know what i mean?

    I don't have hooded eyes, but I can always learn more about how to enhance my eyes even more with different techniques so this is useful to me too. 🙂 I found out recently that part of the reason I can't do eyeliner on my top lids is because I have 2 rows of lashes, and even have stray lashes on my lid towards may lashline. The excess of lashes messses up my eyeliner application.😂
