The History of the Belkan Territory - Timelapse from 1987 to 2010 - Episode #10 - Stuff About AC

- This timelapse shows how Osean and Yuktobanian (+ others) oppressors have taken the rightful Belkan clay throughout time. It is our duty to make Belka great again by reconquering the southern lands now in possession of our natural enemy.
I made this timelapse by using screenshots from Ace Combat Zero's cutscenes and redrawing the borders in the higher quality version of the official Strangereal world map. What you see in this video may not be 100% exact due to ACZ's original resolution but I've done my best in redrawing the borders to their original location and shape as displayed on the cutscenes.
It is interesting to note how the country of Ratio took over about half of Ustio's territory on December of 1991, I wonder why is that...

I don't think so it's time for Union of Yuktobanian Republics Republic of Emmeria Kingdom of Erusea Princess Rosa faction & Osean Federation to destroy Belka for the second chance. The reason for it is that Belka fuelled the 2nd Usean Continental War by using drones.

We do not know that for sure as no documents go back further. But what legally constitutes as right? 'Foreigners' already live in what was once Belka. The most people can do, both in the real world and in the game, is to make the most out of what is left. I do not hate Osea especially under Harling's regime.

The history of Belka is more or less a scenario showcasing what might have happened if Germany and Europe as a whole didn't move on after WW2. With all the mutual hatred still being prominent a resistance movement against Allied occupation would be more than likely.
i somehow feel sad about Belka, caught in economy crisis, selling territories to revamp the economy yet the economy still not improved, starting a war that they lost eventually, stopping the allied invasion by nuking their own borders seven times, not to mention they lost the south belka by the disarmament that done by the former southern belkans, their own citizen. I felt some sympaythy for belka and also the music is so just matched with the timeline video
To be fair, they kinda screwed up by spending too much on building up their military technology

What I love is the cutscene in Ace Combat 5 in which at the airbase in North Osea that ground crew and staff at the airport still considered themselves "South Belkans." Which was the entire catalyses for the war in Ace Combat 5 itself. Belkans in the background pitting Osea and Yuktobania against each other so they could unite North and South Belka while they're too weak to do anything about it. It reminds me of why WWII started. Mostly over the Danzig Corridor between Brandenburg and Prussia. Heck even the famous Erwin Rommel went to the Danzig Military Academy. Ironically, and not told by most historians when talking about WWII and why it started. Between the World Wars, Danzig considered itself an independent City State, and is visible on some maps from countries which recognized it, of course Poland didn't Recognize it, but treated it similar to how China Treat's Taiwan and Hong Kong Today.
Those Belkans make a War between two superpower nation so they could weakens the Superpower Nation that Strangled their land to get back to the land what they called "Home"
It’s that the Poles are whining again that they were divided, but not slaughtered, but simply not allowed to rule... oh, the wrong planet.
You know, after the Belkan War ended officially, I wonder what became of Belka's economic crisis. Did it really subside, at the sacrifice of the majority of it's southern-eastern territories? What happened to the people at "Holy Land" (read:North-Central) Belka? By the time the Circum-Pacific War occurred, what did Dinsmark do? Man, I wish that Belka at least saw a bittersweet fate, if not redeemed a happy one.
Squirrel, in the end, is very unhappy, since individual citizens fanatically follow the “World without Borders” after their frankly insane collapse, again.
And if the country is not a problem and its achievements go from hand to hand everywhere - what comes out is approximately the ruins of the USSR, but not even the Russian Federation level, but Ukraine - what some call a country.
Poor Belka, suffered the economic crisis, lost at war, spend all the money to restore the superiority but it throwed away in the dust, and most importantly, LOST THE ALL TERITORIES, LOST THE ALMOST CITIZEN LIFE, AND LOST THEIR PRIDE, i hope they can restored their superiority :(
Namco please next AC games protagonist would be the countryman like BELKA, or even YUKTOBANIA, its not CALL OF DUTY where the allied force is always right, because THERE IS NO MERCY IN WAR :)

We know for a fact that Osea helped push Ustio for independence in a bid for Osea to gather the natural resources in that region before Belka could. I like to imagine that the citizens of Ustio had no idea on how to actually run a country by themselves, so when they had so much land they didn't know what to do with, they sold half of it to Ratio. I don't think Ratio would have taken that land by force or anything. Unfortunately, there's no clear evidence surrounding the Ustio-Ratio border, so that will probably just be based on theories for forever.
Unless we get a prequel to Zero that shows the selling of Belkan territories in a new light and the struggles of the new nations and says that it was like the Yugoslav wars but shorter and less bloody.

time to hate osea for their everything
Even after what they did, I still can't shake the feeling of feeling sorry for the Belkans. It's the same for Leasath and probably Estovakia. Now here we are, 7 years after the Circum-Pacific War, 1-2 years after the Emmeria-Estovakia War, and 3 years before the Aurelia-Leasath and Osea-Erusea Wars.
hard for me to feel sorry for a nation that uses nukes on their own boarders because they couldn't swallow they pride after they knew they where in the wrong invading independent nations
Not all the Belkans searched the war. Thinks about Pops/Huckebein. He diserted to not drop a nuke. In Stage of Apocalypse if you don't shoot at the yellow targets that appear in the area after the BM-335, they will start to engage the bombers saying that they were no more their allies. Someone tried to stop them, and if Demon Lord and those fighters weren't on Waldreich that day, maybe more than 7 nukes could have exploded.

15 years ago,there was a war.
Well...war's broken out here plenty of times before. They've tried to invade the southlands through the northern valley time and time again. Luck was never on their side,though, and their victories didn't last long.
They didn't realize that times had changed.
Facing one defeat after another, losing territory and watching their nation dwindle, they built up their industrial strength to unprecedented heights and used it to wage one final battle against the world.
That was 15 years ago...
They fought ferociously,but were utterly defeated. The Belkans then committed the unthinkable-- they used nuclear weapons on their own soil. Seeing this tragedy unfold before thier own eyes, the victorious countries vowed to throw down their weapons.
The world was once again at peace. And,thanks to them,it seemed it would last forever.
On a distal island,far away from civilization, the protectors of the peace take to the skies.

+Sonic Ace 24 General Resource is the former Grunder Industries which is a South Belkan Company but not Belka itself.
Well Grunder Industries was funding the Grey Man and 8492 sqadern at AC5, so I don't mind to think they were still a North Belka underneath......

I am proud to be Belkin and to fright for my country but still we suffer.
If Ducktales took place in the Strangereal world, Della Duck would be flying for the 8492 Squadron while Scrooge would be part of the Grey Men, seeking revenge for Belka and his lost niece.
With as much effect as it had and how "grizzled" the fighter pilots seem to be, I hadn't thought the Belkan War was so... brief. It lasted, what, 2 and a half months? How did they supposedly have so many battles and dogfights over the "round table" in such a short war? I understand that with modern technology forces move across the map quickly, but even so... neither the Belkans or their adversaries had any defensive lines or anything?
What is the question?

This video is so sad, imagine that your country kept getting degraded day after day year after year.
I am sure that Belka didn't do any kind of trolling prior to 1987 and all of its former territory was acquired through copious amounts of love, friendship and appreciation of the local cultures. I don't know why other nations would want to leave poor, kind and accommodating Belka, that would be insane. It was the bad neighbors fault
