I think it is a patch i've noticed my XP halved since i got on less than 9 hours ago and haven't changed my set up at all.. Customers are now showing text for specific items they want. I believe the I only sell one thing nerf has been properly implemented.
Yeah I feel like they did stealth update today. Feels like now around 75% of customers are looking for specific thing, my revenue dropped by 50% the moment I booted the game today.
@@_Aynix We actually JUST got confirmation this is basically what we think happened. The code in the game has changed, and for anyone level 70+ you now have 70% "List Shoppers" lol
Video suggestion for you: The new updates to the bulk boxes. I'm having trouble figuring out how to create a specific grade box to keep my shelves stocked of all the grades. Is there a min/max doller amount cutoff, or do I need to choose a specific rarity, etc.
I've noticed that they complain about not having the other products now. I know the reviews don't matter, but it does kinda suck knowing your just tanking your rating, because I doubt it'll be fixable in the future.
i dont think they will ever implement permanent bad reviews because that would go heavily against people who hunt for achievements - which everyone will do later on
Because of this new update they would complain about items I didn’t have and it would tank my rating under 4 stars. Then when I would buy that item it would raise my rating back to 4.5+ stars. It really doesn’t matter too much in this stage of the game.
I said in the video you can copy this strategy verbatim but sell other boxes instead! Also, there is a video on my channel called "$6k by Day 5", check it out ^^
Up to .3 now. I love these devs, they fix things quickly. It was .1 when I played last night after work. Looking forward to hearing more from you about the update. I'm hoping someone puts out a list of how the bulk pack changes work. 🍍
Basic Destiny Boxes - $5k to about $9k in profits daily Rare Destiny boxes - $10k to about $19k in daily profits These numbers are pre patch, so idk what they will be now until i get on n test, but after you hit Level 30, they will definitely be good to min-max exp until you unlock the epix destiny boxes with the new update
playing STRATEGICALLY to reach certain GOAL is FUN! Dont listen to salty comment! Playing with MOD now thats less fun. I use it for auto pricing since I dont have many time to play, But I'm still having fun too. And Start using this method of getting Money and xp on lv 35 too because again I dont Have a lot of time to play, But I wanna unlock other thing without mod as much as possible. So yeah this content helps. Thanks Man!
Here is my idea for those items upon sale: box = 1 item. Card packs inside the box [8] = 8 items. Total for selling boxes, 9. Or the game is giving bonus items upon sale as a consecutive bonus.
I've been running the same pack and shelves but have been selling boosters instead of booster boxes. Have been putting out 40k-45k XP daily and just now had a day clear 50k XP. Look forward to what info they can get from the code and whether boosters are now better. Hope we can push the upper limit of exp even further beyond.
I dont understand why people keep complaining that it supposely breaks the Game or whatever. Nobody forces you to reproduce it, and there is nothing in the Game that would make Exploiting the System like that "unfair" or "ruin the Game", there is no Ranklists, no Ingame Achievement Systems that give you an advantage or whatever. Cant really wrap my head around it how it breaks the Game or "ruins" it.
I unintentionally did that and I’m just shocked why all of the sudden the market price of other boxes went that low. I cannot confirm this but seems that using this method will make the market prices of some shadows go down really really bad. You can check your save and confirm that with me? Or is it just my save bad from the beginning.
My boxes dont go for market value like that. At most i get eighty dollars per box. But i do make good money. I wonder how good the comic books and the new play mats will sale for
Honestly, they had to fix the XP gains and I'm glad to see they have. This is probably not something that would be fixed with the additional content coming later. The 2500 card achievement, I accept that this could be fixed later because the hope is that being able to trade cards (which is on the roadmap) or some other activity will let you fill the gaps in your collection, instead of fishing through tens of thousands of packs. But getting to level 100 was such a bad grind because there are really only two XP generating activities right now (selling product / opening packs, if you don't count buying stock or furniture) and neither of them generated a lot relative to how much you need. And the player can really only do one activity themselves at a time. So adding more activities would give you more choices, but you would still likely only be able to do one at a time. To make the grind more bearable those new activities would've likely needed to give way more XP than the current ones...or they could just rebalance the numbers in some way, which they did.
In the old XP balance though, those new activities would have needed to be similar in gains over time to what the XP gain is now after balance (it feels like XP gains are 3-4x better from selling) in order to reduce the grindy feel. I expect that some of the things coming later (being able to play the TCG, trading cards with customers, and grading cards) will give you XP. Of course, they could have left it as it was. It wasn't impossible to reach level 100. Just really unreasonable. And the addition of more activities wouldn't have changed that unless either the balance of XP was adjusted, those new activities gave significantly more XP, or those new activities were able to be done by the workers, so that you can have multiple sources of XP going at the same time. Any of those is definitely possible, but I guess we'll never know now, since they have addressed it.
If I were to wager a speculative guess, I assume when the app is actually finally finished, it'll affect guest generation, so overtime it'll be a slow march towards death in the late game as more people complain about lack of items due to more likely missing that item as their search for it. So assume say below 4 * it's starts negatively affecting it, it could be slow at first, but dropping 10, 15, 30% in the late game is a lot of customers lost. It'd be as bad as having card tables, making using them seem not as bad, and add to the chance of it being a positive review to bump it up. Of course, this also makes it harder in late game as market prices fluctuates and you have to keep track of dozens of items to reprice daily. And you can't keep the shop closed in the morning too long, else the reviews will say they can't get in.
I'm thinking they could have raised the minimum number of packs a customer will grab off the shelf so they don't just grab 1. If the minimum is now 8 or more, a customer will now always clear the shelf as long as the price is reasonable and they have enough money.
I was going to pass on this update. I have a normal store with tables and all available items and i found I was making a weekly loss after paying rent and keeping everything stocked. Now my sales and table profits are up along with the nice xp increase.
well, it is the most fun way to play imo and once the review app gets changed in the near future i would be surprised if it doesn't incentivize having a range (maybe not literally all items) but more items. well anyway personally i went for like a hybrid of this channels advise of removing playtables+card selling and using the best shelves only but also selling whatever i want with slight emphasize on card boxes :)
How do you make the price of the market go up for the legendary boxes? right now my epic ones are significantly higher my epic boxes sell for 149 and my legendary ones sell for 98
I think they just go up over time as you sell them more, but idk for sure. Would recommend reading the guides on Steam by LoddZee, he probably mentions it somewhere

They can always buy more than 8, I was saying they can only GRAB a max amount of 8 per shelf. They can ofc check multiple shelves, and at that point they're only limited by their carrying capacity

@@KeldorGaming yea I understand. I'll probably be moving on to a new game myself after the end of this week. Because even opening packs is becoming incredibly boring at this point. It's definitely not lies. I have been playing the game version before the customers' reviews were added, and I'm making 25k from day 37 until my current day (44) using this method with the normal legendary box. As soon as you unlock a new box item in rarity order, you basically replace the previous box rarity for more money early game. Though I would stick with selling the legendary box until you unlock the destiny epic box to replace for your one box item selling.
