I love my Fold 3 500 GB. Very very very very very hard to give up big tv screen in your pocket. Especially in the car for navigation and podcast videos or music videos so I can drop the Spotify or Tidal subscription. That being said man thats a great phone once the price drops hard. For over a grand I need something extra like a folding screen. These phones all went over a grand and we just went all along with it. If you look at an old Samsung Note 10 Plus...it's basically got most of what you get now with the S23 Ultra Okay maybe the battery isnt over a day but you'll still get through most of the day and the cameras are still more than what 99% of most people really use. And that old Note 10 Plus can be had for $175.
I went from a OnePlus 7 pro to this and it's great. The battery life is insane. Of course, the 7 pro's battery only had 66% capacity left though. I do need to restart it about once a week, it starts getting quirky if you don't.
I agree that I did not have to upgrade from ky Note 20 Ultra, but I cracked my screen, and the USB-C was shot from breadmaking. I am very happy with the battery life over the Note20 and I use rubber port covers now!

I almost bought this S23 Ultra brand new. While the S23 ultra was so tempting, I instead went with the Pixel 7 Pro because it costs less. Seeing that Amazon sold you that particular S23 Ultra at almost 1k, you are right that it’s better to buy a brand new one or a phone that costs less and performs just as well.
About Spen and stylus specifically, for 80% of their daily use you can buy a Moto G Stylus, a perfect capable note taking phone for cheap (I know about the differences, I use for about 3 years a - missed- Samsung Galaxy Note9). Good to see you back Travis!
Bought a Amazon renewed phone almost two years ago now. A Motorola One Action, mid level model that went for about 400.00 new. ( has a headphone jack and expandable memory, which is a reason Iwent this way ) Had one small scratch you had to look for and came with a screen protector, ( and charging brick ) bought a basic case, all together just over 200.00. Depending on the use, at least a whole day plus before charging again. Don't need all the bells and whistles and when this one starts to act up, I'll look at a newer Motorola and do the same thing. ( as long as it is compatable with Mint, who I've been using for the same time frame )

I would argue that coming from the S20 Ultra the camera and battery life are a MASSIVE improvement in the s23 ultra and well worth the upgrade. Especially since you get the 3x plus the 10x optical as well as macro mode plus general software improvements that give you better pictures. I went from the Note 20 ultra to the S22 Ultra(wife has the s23 ultra) and the camera and battery were the biggest 2 improvements (which were already better than the s20 ultra in the Note 20 Ultra). Also the s20 ultra was CHUNKY lol

I upgraded from my 2019 Note 10 Plus just before Xmas. I got the 512 GB model since unlike the Note 10 Plus it lacks an SSD card slot. I'm very pleased with it. I'm a heavy S Pen user but quickly adjusted to it being located on the left. I didn't want to wait for the S24 Ultra. Still cosy $1300 I'm my country
I loved this review. I always had nervousness about renewed and refurbrished phones but your video showed it can turn out well and you can get a bang for your buck! The Galaxy S23 Ultra is one of the best smartphones out right now as you said and I agree! I'm using an A13 right now and am upgrading to the Plus variant of the Galaxy S23 series. I just feel I'd make better use of it than I would with the Ultra but looking forward to the full upgrade. I can't wait to finally experience a flagship device!
I got a 12 Mini from Renewed Premium and it was like new, 100% battery life. Arrived with no packing material in the box and it bounced around enough the product box was actually knocked open.....and no power brick. Device has been perfect though.

Amazon Renewed is great in my opinion. Had excellent experiences with returns as well. I would not say it is like Apple Refurbished, since you are sort of at the mercy of the third party, and it is very advisable to read the feedback, other than that... That price is okay I think for a 4 month young flagship, but we all know how long that lasts... a year max 🙂
Your video is excellent sir I used renewed few years back when no note was made and bought note 20 ultra 512gb yes at that price was high but worth it to me power bricks are 3rd party ones so super fast charging won't be supported but atleast you got one to start with as far as S23ultra I bought it brand new from samsung in may with note 20 ultra trade in phone cost me 500.00 with 700.00 trade in and all samsung discounts even got custom color sky blue didn't have to wait got it 2 days my advice want better deal don't pre-order wait 3 months than discounts will be there and much higher trade in values battery like S23ultra in absolutely amazing 😎
I had the s22 ultra and went the s23 ultra didn't expect much difference but there's absolutely a difference as I live in the UK and the a23 ultra has the latest snapdragon where as the s22 ultra has the exynos!
Great content. I traded in my note20 ultra for the s23 ultra. And what a difference. S23 ultra gives QHD+ with 120hz refresh rate all the time. As with the note20 ultra, if you wanted the QHD, you'd have to settle with a 60hrtz refresh rate. No, thank you. And the snapdragon 8 gen2 for Galaxy is a beast. Leaps and bounds over the snapdragon 865. I think that's the number could be wrong. The camera and video are like night and day. I'm so glad I upgraded. Now, since I have the s23 ultra, there's no looking back.🙂
My S23 ultra is a year and a half old and still mint condition, pen makes lightsaber sounds thus i skipped 24 series, next up is probably S25U in january.

I had the galaxy s20 ultra before you go on about not renewing the galaxy s23 ultra. I did this as there was no more softwear updates and soon no more scrrity so the galaxy s23 ultra phone is worth every penny

Way better than the s22 ultra an everyone gets the same processor snapdragon 8 Gen 2 lightning fast haven't experienced any lagg plus battery like amazing I don't worry about changing during the day at all .

The s23 ultra is the best phone I've ever used and owned coming from the s10 plus and why i gave the a53 to my mother. The Samsung s23 ultra is better than the iPhone 14 pro max and Pixel no comparison, and I've used all 3. For those of us who know tech, we always knew Samsung was way more fun to use with more capabilities than the iPhone. I used to be an apple sheep many, many years ago, and then I transitioned and never went back. I remember apple phones being the most boring limited phones I've used. The only thing I use on my old iPhone 6s is the imessage period. Even using the 14 pro max irritates me because my s23 ultra does way more. Also, the camera is way better than the iPhone and more fun unlimited features. IPhone sometimes give the perception of better battery because it doesnt do anything basically. Now, with the pixel, I don't prefer the operating system, but I respect the pixel camera. Only gripe I have is the missing micro SD card. When it comes to those things like edge panel multi tasking, S Pen capabilities , 10 x perfect clarity, UHD 60 and hdr 10 video , all those unlimited features are close to perfect. The s23 ultra is the most value for the money, no comparison! You know very well it's better than the 14 pro max it's no comparison. My Samsung tab s8 and the new s9 have gaming emulators and I was able to use my tab s8 and s23 ultra as controllers to project Mario Kart on my Samsung TV , Samsung Dex, smart view phone projection to screen for movies, Advanced edge panel and multi tasking like real computers, the ability to download anything from anywhere at any time, micro sd card, advanced s pen air commands, water resistant tablets etc . Trust me bro I still have my old iPhone 6s, and I learned many years ago that Samsung is superior to Apple, and it's no comparison with their flagship. They are the most fun devices I've ever used and they have features that when I use my sister's iPad I'm upset those features aren't there. Trust me bro just buy the s23 ultra and tab s9 and use them for 1 year and you'll be amazed and then message me in 11 months of testing , Samsung has come a long way

I been wondering abput get a bigger phoen ebcause of my eye issue i had last yea, I owna S22 and Pixel 7 and just bought a Flip5 which i want to try out. But I might be giving ym mo the Pixel 7 or S22 because she has a S12 which it getting older now. I would have gottten thsi S23 if had waited but thinking of waiting for S24 and try it witha pen I use lpve there Notes before but they were taken away. I have Tmobile but have family on it but wondering if Mint had family and cheaper but in any case, How is the Phone really, is it hard to puta screen protector on it or you not use any type?
I've heard of some of those negative experiences such as if you feel you need to return it and ask for a refund say If it arrives damaged, when you receive it, they charge you fifty percent for a restocking fee and blame you for damage to a phone that came cracked. Ir when they claim unlocked but is still locked.
I Am absolutely surprised at anything you ordered from Amazon was actually delivered. I have ordered 3 phones from them and they have arrived with empty boxes. Yeah I'll never order another phone from amazon

30x to 100x is not really meant ifr sharing. It is to view distant objects that can't be discerned without our naked eyes.
The battery, cameras, etc is all b/c of the new snapdragon, which makes it worth the upgrade from the 22 and earlier.

I would say the S23 Ultra is a significant upgrade over the 21 and 20 because of camera performance and the Snapdragon chip instead of Exynos

I love Mint Mobile service. It uses T-Mobile for it's service. It works fine for me in Houston. I have it as a secondary line on my iPhone.
DO they have family plans too or is just single I have T Mobile but if Mint is cheaper maybe i should try it.

The s23 ultra is the best phone I've ever used and owned coming from the s10 plus and why i gave the a53 to my mother. The Samsung s23 ultra is better than the iPhone 14 pro max and Pixel no comparison, and I've used all 3. For those of us who know tech, we always knew Samsung was way more fun to use with more capabilities than the iPhone. I used to be an apple sheep many, many years ago, and then I transitioned and never went back. I remember apple phones being the most boring limited phones I've used. The only thing I use on my old iPhone 6s is the imessage period. Even using the 14 pro max irritates me because my s23 ultra does way more. Also, the camera is way better than the iPhone and more fun unlimited features. IPhone sometimes give the perception of better battery because it doesnt do anything basically. Now, with the pixel, I don't prefer the operating system, but I respect the pixel camera. Only gripe I have is the missing micro SD card. When it comes to those things like edge panel multi tasking, S Pen capabilities , 10 x perfect clarity, UHD 60 and hdr 10 video , all those unlimited features are close to perfect. The s23 ultra is the most value for the money, no comparison!
You know very well it's better than the 14 pro max it's no comparison. My Samsung tab s8 and the new s9 have gaming emulators and I was able to use my tab s8 and s23 ultra as controllers to project Mario Kart on my Samsung TV , Samsung Dex, smart view phone projection to screen for movies, Advanced edge panel and multi tasking like real computers, the ability to download anything from anywhere at any time, micro sd card, advanced s pen air commands, water resistant tablets etc . Trust me bro I still have my old iPhone 6s, and I learned many years ago that Samsung is superior to Apple, and it's no comparison with their flagship. They are the most fun devices I've ever used and they have features that when I use my sister's iPad I'm upset those features aren't there. Trust me bro just buy the s23 ultra and tab s9 and use them for 1 year and you'll be amazed and then message me in 11 months of testing , Samsung has come a long way
The phone is better on Samsung. The ecosystem is better on Apple

I been wondering abput get a bigger phoen ebcause of my eye issue i had last yea, I owna S22 and Pixel 7 and just bought a Flip5 which i want to try out. But I might be giving ym mo the Pixel 7 or S22 because she has a S12 which it getting older now. I would have gottten thsi S23 if had waited but thinking of waiting for S24 and try it witha pen I use lpve there Notes before but they were taken away. I have Tmobile but have family on it but wondering if Mint had family and cheaper but in any case, How is the Phone really, is it hard to puta screen protector on it or you not use any type?
Yes, they have a family plan. But I use a screen protector with no issues.

I am still hesitant to trust Amazon Renewed products due to past negative experiences.
I've heard of some of those negative experiences such as if you feel you need to return it and ask for a refund say If it arrives damaged, when you receive it, they charge you fifty percent for a restocking fee and blame you for damage to a phone that came cracked. Ir when they claim unlocked but is still locked.
