Thank you very much Vertu Joe! Maybe you missed our other one the P620 Threadripper. Looks just like the P520 until you get into the guts… Live long and prosper!
Very hard to say because it depends on the configuration of the unit. That said here are a few resources you can use to calculate the load; the power configurator for the P520, and a too from the APC site that will help you size the appropriate UPS for whatever wattage you are consuming. Hope that helps! download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/thinkcentre_pdf/p520_p520c_power_configurator_v1.4.pdf www.apc.com/shop/us/en/tools/ups_selector/
Is there any issues or errors like I/O or any other? Yesterday, I bought p520, w2135 32GB quadro p1000 for my nephew. Somebody told me that you have made a mistake and you'll face few irritating and un solved errors with this machine. Plzzz, guide me how to properly install it's drivers. Your kind info will be so helpful for me. Thanks.
Recently picked up used 900W P520 (W-2125), 64GB Corsair Vengeance (8x8)... (not Yet: VROC key about $150... Also Thunderbolt GPIO port (add about 500 bones for OEM... may look at ASUS PCIe version) 1 x 2TB 980PRO, and 1TB 970EVOPlus M.2 NVMe SSDs waiting for install (Although, MoBo "only" PCIe 3.0... vs. 4) Would really like to see more about Thunderbolt (3) setup... running out of PCIe slots... Thunderbolt replaces graphics card? (ThinkVision P24q-10 has mini Display Port)
My apologies Charbel, I missed your comment! The P520 is a single processor model that does support the Intel Xeon Scalable processors but the HP Z8 is a dual Intel Xeon Scalable processor platform that supports up to 3TB of memory and is a beast! Here's our video of the Z8 th-cam.com/video/_72nUsBJoyQ/w-d-xo.html but I will say HP Z8 G4 is the top of the line system from HP, while the Lenovo ThinkStation P920 would be Lenovo's answer to the Z8, this one: th-cam.com/video/29ezWOjUEAM/w-d-xo.html Thanks for watching, and sorry for the late response.…
Assuming this is a real question, as the card is from like 2012, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. Although, it is definitely an ancient GPU for this system which can support up to 2x 300W GPUs, assuming you have the 900W PSU installed. Here are the specs: www.itcreations.com/user-manuals/p520/lenovo-thinkstation-p520-platfrom-specifications.pdf Thanks for watching!
@@DarkEditx6 Your English is good enough! What threw me is the age of this card as it was released in 2012. It should work, and I say should because we have not tested it, nor is it listed in the specs for the P520. That said It will go into one of the x16 slots which has 75W of power already so I don't think you will need any additional power to plug into the system board. However, there are 2x 6-pin power connectors specifically for GPUs. However I think his card only has a 60W power draw. Here is the User Guide for the system, and you can see on page 7 there are 2x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for GPUs (if you key in the page number at the top of the screen it's page 21) www.itcreations.com/user-manuals/p520/lenovo-thinkstation-p520-user-guide.pdf . hi Doug, really nice to see a new video after such a long radio silence, hope you have a good business in the new year.
