This is very beautiful and your method is very easy, thank you for sharing. I am a longarm quilter and have lots of batting, in the past I have always used the batting when making my baskets. I think I will try making this one with batting also but instead of ironing the foldsI will stitch flat seams across the fabric for a guide. This will quilt the fabric and stabilize the basket also. I hope this will work on your beautiful basket pattern. I will let you know how it works. Thanks again, you are so talented.

This is a very useful basket/store-all Viv. It strangely makes me wonder if it's a similar way that you could make a hat.
