I love listening to your voice, and if you talk about random things while you sew, that just makes me feel good.
The seasons are changing and my husband and I are sick now. He actually has a mild case of COVID! I tested negative for COVID but I'm coughing, have a headache, and generally feel rotten. Watching your videos when I'm sick brings me extra comfort.

Hi Vivian. I really love this one, it's gorgeous. I started the hand sewn little tree last night but I have to make this now too. The LED candle in the middle is a great idea. I see that red fabric all the time when I'm in Walmart but didn't realize it was on sale now for $1. I love getting deals on fabric; it's a good thing there is no expiration date like you joked with your husband. He is nice to clean up after the bunnies, that means he has a kind heart. I remembered when COVID 19 started, he clean the bananas from the market he bought with soap and running water over for 5 minutes ,,, I told him I will not die from COVID but I die from eating the soap

Vivian, I made this. It seems much shorter and flatter than yours. Total measurement is 14 inches, tip to tip (going from tip and across bottom to corresponding tip). Would tacking it at more than the 1.5inches help to make it taller. (I used high quality quilting cotton and the same Pellon 931TD medium weight fusible interfacing.) Also, yours seems much stiffer. I am considering adding stabilizer to both pieces of fabric to give it more body.
Kathleen, sorry for late respond .. you could bring up 1/2" but it will be smaller , still fit the tall candle though. I would add 2 interfacing ,, one on each fabric if you want stronger.. The fabric I use is 100% cotton,, also make sure you top stich around before you sew the petals together ( It will help add more strength to the basket too
