Trustfire T30R - LEP Flashlight - Almost A Mile Long Beam Distance?

  • In this video, we'll be checking out the Trustfire T30R. This is what is referred to as an LEP (Laser Excited Phosphor) flashlight or a "laser flashlight." It is a very well-built and put together product. Unlike some of the other LEP flashlights on the market, this one won't break the bank and leave you with buyers remorse. Don't let the lower price steer you away, though. It is extremely impressive, in my opinion. I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy one!

    You're basically just concentrating all the lumens and losing all your spill that helps you see a wider path. That's why the candela is high with such low lumens. If the light was adjustable focus to make the projection path wider you would lose all your candela while the lumens stayed the same
