    Oh my god. It's delicious! Thank you. You made me enthousiastic about cooking again. I was born also in the caribean. On Aruba. But have been living in Holland for about 17 years now. I nearly forgot that the best foods come from the caribean because it's a melting pot of many customs and different people from all over the world. Next i will try your black cake for christmas.

    I mashed my bananas than added them. I also added 3 cups of sugar 1 of those cups was brown sugar, and almond extract for a nuttier taste and made Praline sauce to top it off. It was Awesome!!

    Cool video. Some folks like to pre-soak their raisins in rum, sort of sauce or just plain water to get soft.

    Love it! Me I used dried cranberries instead of raisins and a mixture of vanilla pudding mix about maybe a tablespoon and the tablespoon of Cheesecake mix instead of the custard powder. I also didn't buy the bread but they fit myself and let it sit out for a day cuz... I guess I'm just different LOL... And cut down a bit on the sugar and added honey as well so it was a mixture of sugar and honey . Also too I didn't have enough bread so I use less eggs obviously but work out perfectly for me using all the tips and tricks she offered. THANK YOU! :-)

    Love the recipe! In the beginning you mentioned that you were cheating a little bit by using the custard powder; is there anything else that you can use other than custard powder?

    • @ags0301
      @ags0301 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you do not have custard powder, just use corn flower + annatto color. This is what the custard powder is made up of.

    I made this pudding today. Now... I had no powdered cinnamon so I stuck a stick in the grinder... forgetting that the last time I had used the grinder I used it for dried peppers! Soooooooo.... :)... now my pudding has a spicy taste! And I love it!!! My advice? Add a tiny bit of dried chilli powder!!! ;)

Never did it with bananas but I love bananas so I will do it just like you. Keep up the good work. Randall Pennington Definitely do not use your choices!! if you can just get some packets of Vanilla Pudding Mix, or banana Pudding Mix and add, brown sugar not white, maybe half and half would be good. 7 eggs whisked with 1 desert spoon of Vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder, 8 cups of dried up bread
