Nice video. I have a similar problem in my trafic. Am I right in thinking passenger side should be seeing about 6 ohms due to the two lots of passenger pre tensioners?
Hi Ryan did you get an answer ? All these " devices" lamps , coils etc are they wired in parralel to tge CPU / CAM BUSS .? But something like a Twin passenger seat is wired in series ( 2 wires ) going back to CPU .?
Hiya mate i have the same issue as you had. I have followed you step by step in cleaning contacts but no success. What would be tge next plan of action please
So you used a " decade box "? Is that a load of resistors in a box ? So if i shove a 3 ohm resistor across the two contacts that should replicate the seat devices " resistance " ? And the fault should clear ... ? So does the CAM BUSS look for 3 ohms across all " transducers " coils , lamps etc ? In order not to throw up a code ? And the CAM BUSS im presumimg is a square / pulse wave , which i should be able to SCOPE , but how does tye CPU know WHICH DEVICE is not giving 3 R , or is it more complex ?
Had these lights on for 1week grrrrr
Watched this
Wiggled the connection under drivers seat
Abra cadabra 😅😅😅😅
Thank you not stressed now

Nice bypass test👍
Thanks for the comment
How and what did you use to clean the contacts mate
Contact cleaner and a small brush for airbag contracts.

I’m in the same boat. In my case, I think it’s the squib as it comes on and off as your driving / turning the steering wheel
Nice job 😃

3 ohms ? Is that with respect to ground ? Do the blue and brown wires go across the pretensioner ,or is one of the cores going to chassis ground?
