GMC Sierra leveled on 24 inch Denali replica wheels with Fullway tires

- A quick walk around of the GMC after a few updates. 2023 GMC pro tailgate emblem. New 24 inch replica wheels and new Fullway 305 tires. Two inch leaf block removed. www.Gen5diy.com Gen5diy updated headlights and taillights. Dedadged and removed all the factory Texas Edition emblems off.

Update Feb. 2024 I reinstalled the rear blocks under the leaf spring and added 2” drop shackles. It rides better now.
Did you need spacers for the front ?
How can I get some more info on how you did the head an tailight conversion, this truck is just too clean. 👌
@@DJmemo20 No spacers the front is bone stock with stock shocks all the way around.
@@JuanMendez-qd5hi GenY is where I got my conversion kits. I liked the front headlights so well about a month later I got the rears. Last time I checked GenY was sold out and went up on their prices.

Well I haven't got any, the ones I want they saying out of stock.24 inch They gray with gray inserts and all the edges are machined, if that help. But that rim I liked a long time just only saw 22s
@@bigaparker1977 Yes, King Wheel and Tire has the all gray with machine trim. Those are sick too. Decision making wasnt easy haha.

Thanks man, I measured it 36" front and 38'' in the rear. Top center of the wheel wells. It has a tiny bit of factory rake left.

Yes, all stock suspension beside rear block removal. The tire brand is Fullway size 305/35R24. 🇺🇸

New sub 😎…. I’m getting the exact same ones but in 26” 305/30-R26. I put the beilsteins on the front and left it on the 1 from the top on the shock so I have a little rake…. For loading small fourwheelers and pulling my trailer…. The 24” you got look clean af, but I like the full wheel well look…. 26” don’t rub either…. On my 20” Texas edition rims I’m getting 17-19 mpg, and the last 26” rims I had I was getting 12-13 mpg at best…. Gotta cruise w those size rims anyhow, a deep pothole will fck you up, so make sure you got the insurance 😂
Yo thanks for the sub, Big Lou! Did you go with the chrome windows? I am getting a decent MPG as well. Not much changed, I was running the OEM Denali 22s. This is the only truck I have seen these wheels on in real life. The 26s will be pretty rare to see around town. I had to think about going 24 or 26 for a day or two. I chickened out on the sixes and went for a smaller upgrade. You are going to turn some heads on them big sixes.
@@TORKiT I went with the all brushed silver look no chrome. I don’t like chrome too much tbh, I’d rather the standard look…. Had to buy 3 diff set of locks though, I park my baby in the garage so I don’t have to worry too much. 😅 but for them boys out there lurkin’ I don’t imagine some rims are worth dying for 😈. I put a kill switch on my truck so they’d have to push or tow that sumbish if they ended up trying to steal it lol. I almost went with the 24”’s but my coworker already has some diff snow flake ones so I had to 1 up him😂

Mainly just trying not to curb them at a sharp drive through window corner. Swing wide and dodge the gnarly potholes.

Yes sir, these are a combo of metallic silver with chrome windows around the openings. I believe they are called super silver with chrome inserts.

@@tayers100 Pretty rare color is called "Hyper Silver". I spend alot of time searching of some. These are the only 24s I have seen with chrome windows. I will hook you up with a part for them 24x10s part# RS0724100655+31HS/CI. US Wheel and Tire. I ordered them from Cali and they shipped out of Illinois all the way down here to Texas. It wasn't the cheapest option but I wanted them bad. Pulled the trigger. Then later I ordered the chrome GMC center caps from the same lady.
@@TORKiT I live in Texas also an I’ve searched around at several different rim shops in the DFW area an I can’t find them anywhere… Appreciate the info I’m gonna check out the place in California that you mentioned an hopefully I can find a set. I wanted 26’s but after seeing your truck I think I like the 24’s better.

How hard was it to switch to the 2018 heads/tailights?
Took me about four hours. Just got after it. The plastic wrap around under the grill was the toughest part to get off for me. It was worth it though.

I had all kinds of trouble finding these with chrome inserts. There should be one more set of 24s in the U.S. Wheel and Tire warehouse up in Illinois. They come with silver center caps, but I changed them to chrome.

Those headlights started in 2016
Yeah JJ, you are right. 2016-2018 and there is two different model headlights. The other model has a square turn signal inside.
What tires did you go with?

Mine are stock, I just lowered the rear 2 inches.

No kit, I just removed the factory block under the leaf springs in the rear. Almost a 2 inch drop in the rear for free.

Hard to find these 24s man. The 22s are stock wheels GM offered. Im a huge fan of the chrome windows. I sold my 22s exactly this this. The 22s are OEM Denalis.

@@JesusLovesUs10000 I was told alot of these replicas are hard to find because of the shipping backlog in California. I ordered mine out of Cali but they got shipped to Tex from Illiniois. It took a about 12 days.
What front leveling kit do you have on her
Mitz the front is completely stock suspension. I just removed the rear block on top of the leaf to drop the rear. Eliminated the stink bug look.

How’s the ride quality on 24’s
Ride still feels good on stock shocks. Barely worse than 22s. I don’t like hitting big square edge bumps so I try to dodge them while driving if possible. Things like sunken manhole lids or potholes can be avoided. 🕳
One Question
What's The Gas Mileage on the truck With 24s on it
Basically the same MPG. This truck came with twenties. Then I put 22” OEM denalis no change. Now these 24”. All three different sizes the tires are all the same height. No change is speedometer either.

@@ItsssMarkus i took all that plastic junk off the front bumper. Some people dont notice it. That helps clean it up.

@@ItsssMarkus All stock 5.3 with a chrome exhaust tip. Nice and quiet. Its idling during the video.
How do you level it
Jack the rear end up and loosen the u-bolts. Remove block under leaf’s. Reinstall u-bolts one side at a time. Use jack stands and floor jacks.

@@843_mel That’s cool, I started by debadging the entire truck. Then did the billet grill, tint windows, and color match GMC emblems. Easy cheap stuff first. The rear block doesn’t do much just a 1.5” drop in the rear. You won’t lose any quality there. Good luck and take your time with it.
