I was there as well. Won the tickets in the old Evening Press. Seve was funny. Jack was technical. Seve hit a ball over 250 yds off his knees. Said he was "ian Woosnam". Jack had won the Masters that year and if memory serves, Seve shot a 63 in the last round of the Open the previous day. The match itself was obviously meant to be a tie, but Seve holed an outrageous chip on the last from over 70 feet to beat Jack. We will never see anything like him again. RIP
My goal is to break 50 on my 9 hole course. I once posted a 54 but that included five mulligans. I also left one hanging on the lip and on one hole a squirrel ran off with my Snickers candy bar after he stole it from my golf pouch on the side of my bag. I really needed that energy too and it cost me dearly.
@doctornoooo Yes I have that on DVD too, it was called "The One Club Challenge". The episode I have was Seve, Trevino, Faldo and Aioki. Amazing to watch!
@Jurassicpals Brilliant! Luck you. Did you see the round of golf they played that day? I posted a clip of that on Seves Facebook page. Wish I had have been there that day!
to sevefan can you post it or some of it I have only read about it had no notion it was anything they did for the cameras and for sure did seve shoot a 39///////////

They had wireless mics that worked that well in 1986 wtf? My 2020 bluetooth headsets are constantly disconnecting.
One dislike? Paul Azinger must have watched this video in the early 90's.

And I might be wrong here, but I think J.P. Fitzgerald, Rory McIlroy's current caddy, caddied for either Jack or Seve that day.
