What made red boujack good though was that his main force drew his transformation art and took away enemy vanish so if you were in a combo it’s guaranteed and if you weren’t combo’ing, it was a guarantee unless the enemy switches. Plus red boujack awakened always does a ton of damage on top of giving crazy buffs

As a person who studies psychology in his free time, there are moments where I just don't understand people. This video is a good example of what I'm talking about - when you see where Goresh ranks out of 60 million players, you have to respect him. It's no surprise why he's God Rank - he's smart, understands the game mechanics, knows common patterns players do and how to counter, has all the best equipment, and has almost every unit at 14 Stars. How are you going to tell this guy he's wrong? Most players are casual - if you were brand new and really wanted to learn this game at its very core, he'd be one of the people you'd want to watch. That's what I did and I'm now a Diamond player.
You can love a unit or team as much as you'd like and have your opinion, but when you make it high enough, it'll be clear as day to see which teams are superior. Your skill may be good enough for you to think you can use any character and win, but sometimes you may lose due to a unit's kit, and there's nothing you can do about it. There are other factors as to why you may win or lose, but this is one aspect in gray area of DBL's PvP.

They don't gotta be as good or better, but to the point where I can see someone bring them to a match and think that it was a good decision to bring them.

While I definitely agree that turles left a lot to be desired upon his release, it’s also important to note that, in his showcase video, you actually were not playing in lbr. I saw someone else mention this in the comments and I went back and checked myself, I’m surprised you didn’t at least go back and review the video before making and uploading this one.
Make these more often. Very entertaining to watch. Turles has always been trash. I never saw turtles ever in pvp when he dropped so idk why people saying he was good. If you a good unit you should be getting playtime right? The point you were making about if units can’t compete with the top tiers if they suck, this is true. Look at the kaioken goku we got with revival frieza, lmao haven’t seen that dude since his banner first dropped. Niche characters don’t age too well sometimes. That goku was only made to counter the vegeta side of G&V and crazy thing is 90% of the time when you fighting the vegeta side, they are able to switch right back to goku because vegeta keeps drawing a blast card and ki. In the meta we in now if you doing just one thing, your not really that good. That goku was only good for restoring vanish and giving a slight strike damage buff to son family.
Pretty solid on release.
But he died in like a month.

Kaioken Goku is rlly good imo. Nobody summoned for him so they don't have the stars he needs to be good. I got lucky and got him 9 stars, so he performs extremely well

@@Sporkyfk idk why anyone would use him. As a unit he's not that bad but for his main team Saiyans we have much better options. For a strike saiyan we have SSJ4 Gogeta. It's been almost a year since he's been out and he's still pretty damn strong at 6*+. For blast saiyans SSJ3 is still pretty solid. I know both of them are LFs but now both of them are old enough to get some stars of both of them.

You know what’s funny? One of the very next videos Goresh released after this video was a showcase of Turles and Cooler Movie Goku together and the title said “Domination”. 😅
Personally, I really enjoyed Yellow Turles back in the day, especially when they started adding better characters to help him out. He definitely was not a great unit, had a lot of problems, but I did have fun 👍🏻

That's one thing I found funny. Because ROC SSJ Goku was mid also. He was only good because his blue could one shot VB. Outside that, he had no use and would get washed by every other anni unit. Yet Goresh and his fans were riding ROC Goku's dick while calling Turles mid even though they were almost alike.
Shit I used to defend him before but he can't even admit that he was wrong at all. He didn't call Turles mid. He called him straight up trash. Like Zenkai Scouter Vegeta levels of trash even though Turles was just mid and not even comparable.
No one disagreed when Goresh said that Pikkon was trash because it was clear. It wasn't so much the same for Turles and yet it's now a problem because he thinks his opinion is objective

As for the rest, you don't have to try to make a unit look good, if the unit is solid. Pur vegito zenkai is not a god, but he definitely does not need ssj bardack to look good, zenkai 21 has been quite good and still does crazy strike damage, and you don't HAVE to play her alongside blue 21 to get that.

Sorry to say but those criticism were relevant at that time,it wasnt a proper showcase...you even did two videos after that telling he did good damage and his best team was saiyan, so he wasnt a rr fodder.He didnt get any movies buff after his release to support him and to make it worst the red cell arrived and LF SSJ2 got his zenkai in a months time...it was end for yellow units with the zenkai of LF SSJ2

I don't think "if you can't fight the best characters in the game, you suck" is correct. There are many people who aren't lucky enough to pull the best unit on a team. For example, right now, the best green unit on LOE is halo golden frieza. But that doesn't mean f2p pod frieza sucks. Someone who didn't pull him can still use f2p pod frieza just fine. There is a massive difference between running f2p pod frieza and say, old grn golden frieza. All I'm saying is there is a difference between being fodder to the best unit and being completely trash.
Podza doesn't fit on loe since hes a strike based unit when loe is MAJORLY blast centric team. He sucks
@@invalid4044 podza doesn't suck. He was the main green on loe before halo frieza, and still is for anyone who doesn't have him. A unit that "sucks" is a unit that's unusable in pvp at all. Podza is not unusable, he's just not optimal, and can get destroyed by top meta fighters, which apparently in goresh's view makes him trash.

I remember I was hyped for him and summoned. Then I thought something was wrong with my equipment build for him because he wasn’t doing damage. Even after popping the ult. I wish he was better.
I'm actually surprised anyone defended turles. I got him to like 8 stars when he first came out, and I was done using him within a week. He was complete trash compared to units twice his age.

@@MrGaming-dn1tw I'll admit I'm not the best skill wise, but I had other yellow sagas units at the time that I was getting wins with. Hell I had them at lower stars than turles and they did better. If it was a skill issue on my part I'm sure your not completely wrong, there might have been better ways I could have effectively used him. But I'm completely with goresh on this either way. He knows his stuff when it comes to legends.

In hindsight, those comments are even funnier because i don't recall Turles even being close to being "meta". Yeah maybe i got stomped out by a couple players using Turles in their team but 1. Turles was not the unit being the damage dealer 2. It was most likely a top ranked player who can make even the worst units seem usable in PVP.

On release, Yel Turles was not "terrible, fodder level terrible." He was usuable at worst. They tried something new with his kit and it flopped, but he wasn't unusably bad. In the modern day you can say his fucking garbage, but on release, he wasn't as bad as you're making him out to be.
I remember watching that video then playing with him and forming a completely different opinion. He did release after a meta shift in the form of Vegito blue, but I still think to this day that you underrated Yel Turles back when you did his video. Vegito definitely set your standards too high. Net every unit that releases after a strong unit is going to be stronger Goresh.
I don't really understand why you had such a hate boner for this unit. He definitely wasn't as good as Vegito, but he was still usuable when compared to everyone that wasn't VB. I obviously am not the only one that shares this sentiment judging by the ratio on that video.

@@omealvincar9646 He definitely has his flaws. Like you mentioned, restrictive and cancelable buffs, but my point was he was not fodder. A skilled player could play around his weaknesses and succeed with using him. He didn't tank well, true, but his damage when his buffs were active was very respetable and the support utility he brought the team is worth mentioning. A fodder unit in my definition is a unit that, despite your best efforts, contributes little nothing to the match, an example being Blu uppercut Goku. Turles team support alone frees him of being fodder, not good, but not fodder. Even if you only brought him for the team buffs he provides, you could swap to him in a pinch and deal some non-negligible damage. As for the fact that, "he doesn't fit on any teams." That's subjective. A team build is based on who you have and who you like to play. If you like Blu uppercut Goku, then he fits on your movies team. Not everything has to be so cut and dry about the meta. it's a video game, let people have their fun without viscously shitting on it like Goresh did in that video. Especially when the unit isn't universally considered terrible like Paikon was on release lmao.
There's my opinion. It's obvious that we have very different play styles, but to each their own.
I prefer to use worms as bait when I go fishing.

Turtles was indeed bad bruh, every time I used him back in the days, I would lose more matches than I would win some. He's not that good, especially now cause of all the ultra units running around in pvp

I like this style of video, but I have one critique. It may be best to do this with the videos in the past month or two. In a game like legends where the meta changes so rapidly I think looking at vague comments posted years ago is a little hard to do well. Having the comments be a couple months old would still be relevant and easy to discuss.

I think you should have rewatched the video, cuz you were using not the best units with him. And the matches were trash since you were getting countered heavy.
It's okay to be wrong Goresh. You don't need to sound so defensive. (You were also wrong about Zenkai Teq Broly and ended using him in ranked later on since he was one of the few good tank options at the time for your setup, and was able to live Rising Rushes if used correctly at that time, and changed your opinion due to that. Also the Green Blue combo hit really hard.)
