I know he was mentioned but I’m surprised he wasn’t on the list but that Red zenkai ssj2 gohan was absolutely insane. He would kill most characters in one hand and if it was a type disadvantage unit he could just use his main and ult the blue unit. He did so much damage that no other unit could keep up for a long time. He made hybrids the most used team for a long time.
actually he made son fam insane for the longest time, he had zenkai nameku goku and ssj3 PUR&GRN backing him up or even YEL 18, future gohan came out but the hybrids didn't completely get flushed until 3rd anni with rev gohan Had the longest reign in the meta until i would say the Tag BlueBoys, then he completely vanished

He is annoying but not in a meta breaking way. All these units literakly RULED the meta just because they were overpowered. Ofc UGB is really annoying and stuff but he isnt or wasnt META breaking when he released.

Blue bros were also broke on release but he didnt include them in this list. Surpreised that zenkai LF ssj2 Gohan didn't even get mentioned. I mean, when debating on either ssj bardock or even hero hercule thought process that the devs had, I feel like that, at the time, you either rush him or you lost the match because of the way they designed him.

He could melt LF VB, who was not only the best unit in the game by a mile at that time, but was a blue unit. It was ridiculous just how much he dominated every single match and I'm pretty sure he's the only unit in the history of the game to be THAT dominant for over a year.
@@terran87259 I consider broken to be when a unit does something that limits the opponent's options to a level where it feels unfair. FSK did not have anything special, just bonkers blast damage and a Nagasaki Fat Man nuke of an ultimate. No locking, sub count manip, cover null, paralysis, feint, cover change, counters, unique guage, dragon ball manip, or anything else of the sort. Extremely powerful =/= broken.
@@sploda9886 When you look at it in hindsight, sure, FSK does not seem to have much going for him besides raw power and lasering your units to death, but the raw power he had literally was unfair. It was so powerful that the best blue unit in the game at the time, who was so far ahead of every other unit in the game, would literally get melted by A RED unit. His power was what made him so broken. It's why even after every unit that came out after him with different gimmicks like the above you mentioned still was not enough to dethrone him. Only when USG came out is when his reign was over but literally he was so strong that he didn't even need any gimmicks to be broken. It just took him 1 or 2 blast cards for your unit to vanish into non-existence.
@@terran87259 The issue wasn't FSK on his own, it was the hybrids team as a whole with LF Future Gohan and later on Revival Gohan supporting and also tanking, on his own FSK wasn't that big of a threat cause if he truly were (like VB was on release) you wouldn't even see the color yellow in the meta and yet the top like 10 units had 3 Yel zenkai units which were Yel 18, Yel LF Piccolo and Yel DKP. Another thing that contributed to the FSK dominance was the lack of accessible attribute upgrades removal which is why nowadays he's completely unrunnable despite his dmg still holding up as a LMS, almost anyone has attribute upgrade cancelling nowadays.
I’d have said Red Ssj2 Gohan should have been on the list since he was completely dominant for over a year and is pretty much the sole reason they had to restructure how pvp worked with the booster character system. Being able to solo entire teams and managing to make Blue Vegito not number one despite having type disadvantage to him was bs
Not only that, even after some time, they had the brilliant idea of giving him 2 LF tanks, supporters and also make the Purple LF Goten an support and zenkai boost for the LF Revival Gohan, so you ran LF Future Gohan, Revival LF Gohan, the FSK Gohan and GG's nothing you could do to win, because 2 are tanks and 1 oneshots you with 1 blast card. THEN GAVE HIM AN MASSIVE EQUIP
Purple bojack yellow Gohan and that blue transforming vegeta was hands down my favorite team of all time... yellow Gohan was in my opinion the card the games ever seen in terms of relevance to time of release.

The units that I have issues with are those that literally play the game for you: UI Goku: Auto dodge and auto wins clashes when you attack Ultra Gogeta: Gets a free blue card hit if you attack Hero Hercule: Can't play the game because you're paralyzed
Og Movies with purple Boujack, yellow Gohan and the blue transforming Vegeta was the meta I hated the most. If Gohan locked someone in that character was good as dead, Boujack cover nulled damn near everything and Vegeta was rush fodder and handled and reds you brought to counter Gohan
I can say for sure the biggest surprise for me was the tag 4’s I personally dont have an issue with them because all they’ve been is combo with vegeta and bust a strong blue card with goku, they’ve never been OP but have been a very good option but I dont feel like they do anything that annoys you other than probably locking blue cards. Their team is honestly one of if not the most balanced team throughout the game’s history, never had a match where im like oh no I gotta fight GT. Depends on the team they are on but honestly I think tag 4’s are one of the best designed units in modern times, number 1 probably being ultra super vegito or lf 17.

I think that's what Goresh was pointing out. Nowadays, they're far from OP and that's what's annoying. They're just their to annoy you for 15 counts dealing zero damage in hopes that you just quit the match.
looking back at this. the rose meta was literally my breaking point. yes, i got lucky on his first banner and pulled him, but my god. the paralysis, the negative card draw speed, debuffs and to top it all off neutral for 20 timer counts and a shit ton of healing just for doing things💀 and not to even mention that unique gauge whenever fills up restores your vanish fully, plus the 3 ultimates. this is the pinnacle of "who the fuck made this kit" playing pvp might aswell be doing zenkai rushes with one character. i hate this unit with a burning passion hotter than hell.
U forgot the most important part about bojack if I can recall, he can also nullify ultimate arts. Which is the reason why 2nd Anni vegito blue had his ultimate practically a guaranteed hit so that bojack couldn't counter it
Remember SSB Vegitos covernull on ult was a direct counter to bojack. As well as the lock in on blue card. I remember using Blue transform vegeta, bojack, and yellow transforming gohan and that was the meta for like... months until 2nd year anni
I think Cooler was one of the coolest villian lfs and got wasted so bad that it´s impossible to bring him back and make him good without being bad for the game
yeah i feel like goresh doesn’t always feel the full impact of things like that since he has all 14* units and all the highest z ability’s. from his list it shows he doesn’t care much about damage, it’s more about the little things units do that annoy him
Most teams right now have at least yellow to cover that weakness Future gohan,zenkai ssj2 goku,evolution vegeta, ultra vegito,trunks vegeta and 4ku.really ugb and lf rose are the only good purple unit and i guess that sp trunks
@@blur7491 Because cooler was so unfun to fight against. It was a coin flip as to whether he drops or he keeps going and you lost a character and potentially the game. He was such a targeted counter to a fairly balanced unit, and now he has NO value because so many characters counter his “locking” mechanic and he can’t punch through any half decent blue character. Such a shame too, cooler is so sick just for him to be like this in legends.
You'd know if you watched the video or played at the top ranks. Cooler was pretty much a must run if you wanted to place in God rank and no other unit at the time came even close to being as good as he was because of that lock in.
The Ultra Super Saiyan Rose has been the bane of my existence ever since he released. Ultra SSB Gogeta is an angel compared to him. Also that Kefla was a monster back when you could combo with tackles. Also SSB Vegito deserves a shoutout. He would combo infinetely when he released.
My list is pretty similar, but I include beast gohan. First of all I spent over 30k crystals trying to pull him, I almost had to rely on the stupid pity ticket system but I was able to get 1 copy, but just everything he does in battle. 90% of matches he starts off with a green card and immediately destroys your hand before you can do anything. His equipment is insane no matter what teams he's on, just like his green card he always seems to have a blue card when cover changing. He is just very annoying and I know what to immediately expect the second I see him on the opponents team
I’d have gogeta at the top, cooler was mega annoying, but he was killed instantly when beast gohan came out. Blue gogeta is a blight on high level pvp since December and won’t be dethroned until atleast part 3 of the anni in July/august. Essentially locking blast cards and being the scourge of ranged units makes him the most irritating. He also encourages passive gameplay since you know that your opponent might legit have to blast or blue card you. Plus the massive heal plus his double cover change. Coolers got his lock in but other than that is he much worse than gogeta?

i am shocked that beast gohan didn't get at least an honorable mention. for me he is in my top 5 most hated. definitely biased as i blew 30-40k crystals and didn't even get a single copy, but i literally could not play the game until the tag 4's came out and i had something to semi-counter him. it was, you have beast gohan, or you lost the game.
My top 10 most hated characters: 10) vados: the insane card disruption, costant healing, the main that transofremd normal and "kinda mid" god ki units into full on Panzerkampfwagens VII. 9) grn kefla: insane long-ass strike combos, blast armor on everything, blue card rekt your cards and faint on ultimate. Ah also endurance null on ult. 8) namek goku: he became op if was last man standing and just you cound't touch him if he had a blue card. Also would one shot green units with his blue is counter worked. 7)yel champa: the stupid blasts that destroyed your card. The insane disruption he has access and the insane debuffs he applies to your character was insane. 6)green 21: double cover rescue, the annoying flashing with green card, her ult locked you in if you killed soemone and just annoying overall. 5) beast gohan: can do anything and just didn't have sense as a character: destroy cards, cover null, vanish restoration, insane damage, element null. everything. He is fifth just because he was justified of being this strong. 4) LF cooler: Self explainatory. 3) FSK lf gohan: could 1v3 you. Didn't require skill or what so ever. Could melt blue units without element null, and STILL could acces element null. 2) red pan:takes away ALL of your ki. Has a cover change. Can go neutral. Farms a rush in 5 timer counts. Her green locks your main, and debuss you insanely just for existing. 1) zenkai 18: SELF EXPLAINATORY.
He is one of the least toxic but op character like beast but he is not a menace now as when he first released but he's literal angel compared to toxic rose

I don’t think his gauge is that big of a deal anymore cos it’s very easy to deal with it if ur running rose but he literally shut down blast based units for months. My MOST hated unit was Blu bois back on release, the fact that I saw them everywhere and couldn’t pull them at all until recently made me go on a 2 month hiatus when they came out

RN cooler is actually decent(top 15-20 ish IMO), if you dont have hit(or have him at low stars) you can have a budget version of hit, ultra rose and zamasu replacing hit with cooler, he still gets the zenkai ability from red rose Give it a try, at least now he is "one more" of the classmates in this meta

VB should have been here somewhere, i think i would have removed ultra Goku black and put VB in his spot, i would have also expected bojack and gohan to be higher.
for me the most hated character list actually goes along the lines of this: 1. USV - I just hated how tanky he was and killing him became even more impossible with how much he healed over and over again. there were times when I couldn't even kill him with a rush from the android 17 side of the tag droids, he was just too much. also, his ult does way too much damage and until even this day I would probably say it is still in the top 3 most damaging ults in the game, and the fact he can go type natural in a few ways when unleashing his ult is even more devastating when running red units because that means no one on the team can take his ult and live, it's kind of like a mini rush, similar to red gohan zenkai's ult when he has a dead ally. overall I just really hated this unit on release and killing him was such a pain, he just felt unbeatable at times and seeing him return actually gives me ptsd from the post anni PvP grinding period. 2. UBG - I just absolutely despise his unique gauge, I think it is actually over powered, it just stops every combo you do and makes you take damage from his blue card from COMBOING HIM. This just seems unfair to me and not having him in this meta feels like always being at a HUGE disatvantage, something I didn't quite feel in any other meta before (maybe the VB and Yellow gohan meta excluded). overall I think that his gauge should've been just a bit worse, maybe making it a bit harder to get or just nerfing it a bit. 3. Hero Hercule - pretty much for the same reason Goresh stated in this video. (42:15 - 46:20) 4. Pan - idk why but I just always hated this unit, her ki reduction is probably the single most annoying mechanic after paralysis/faint and her dragon ball on her blue wit the amount of time her green card takes every time she uses it, plus all of the over powered support she gives. I just really hate fighting this character and sighing every time she pops her main, uses a million green cards, tackles me as II have literally 0 ki and me having almost no counter play whatsoever. she is just a very annoying character to fight against and I really don't like her kit as a whole. 5. yellow transforming gohan - pretty similar reason to Goresh's in the video. 6. Ultra Rose goku black - pretty much the same reason as Goresh's. 7. MUI - it just felt you just couldn't do anything to him when he came out and at high stars he actually had good defenses so killing him felt impossible especially when he was ran with USV on the team. he had the "Universal" cover change and he was just a pretty annoying unit to fight, depleting his gauge felt like a chore every match and made the game feel a lot more stale with the playstyle everyone were playing at the time with him known as the "MUI playstyle" as suggested from it being a thing because of Mui himself. overall he was and probably still is a pretty annoying unit to fight against. 8. yellow rage trunks - this guy was just the WALL, many time when I rushed him even with a big damage dealer he lived with a lot of hp on cover, his defenses were just too good for the time, which is the 2nd anni. killing him felt impossible when he was at high stars especially because of his green card that restored his hp and his HUGE cover sustained damage cut for the time. he was just very annoying to fight at the time as almost no red units were running in the meta because of the vegito blue reign so killing him was very tough. 9. blue ssj bardock - even though I don't really have that big of a problem with him, I do understand what Goresh is saying and I do support his argument about why this character was a very flawed release, but personally I never really cared about him and only saw him as a mainly gimmick unit and not really a top tier option even for super saiyan characters, he's just not really "that guy" in most cases even though his support is op as hell and should never have been given to any unit. 10. green kefla - she was just so intimidating when she came out, one mistake and you were just dead. I remember a lot of people just floating up to you and doing a strike with her and if they landed it successfully, one of your characters were just instantly dead. her reign even got to be longer as a result of VB's release and her countering him while being able to be ran with him, she was just a perfect match for him. which made her pretty intimidating and annoying to fight against. Honorable mentions: VB himself, Buutenks (was just too bad on release and he is a character I do like), ssj3 purple zenkai goku, blue tansforming goku to ssj, red gogeta zenkai, purple rose goku black zenkai, yellow android 18 zenkai, yellow majuub. So yeah, thats pretty much it for my list of most hated releases ever in the time I played this game (I'm a day 1 player), there were some eras I wasn't playing at, for exmaple: LF cooler's release, a little bit after the first legends festival and ect', so I might've not included some units from these eras as I just haven't had the chance to play and see those units in action and judge them myself. I do like this list, but I reckon zenkai fsk gohan would be on the list too in my opinion, during those days every time you versed against him he just straight up kills you and even VB ( who was the most dominant character) gets deleted by gohan, gohan literally broke the game
I've played since release and I'll add more stuff to the list, bet y'all forgot about double buffing it was super broken, ultimates were irrelevant as you just needed a single card to one shot basically anyone. blue broly was so good back in the days, I even remember the red ssj goku and the yellow super vegeta were good. Rage trunks was broken back then as well, one shot virtually anyone with his ult and could heal so much and was tanky. The holy trinity was another meta, zenkai android 18 did way too much damage as well as zenkai red gohan (in his meta with hybrids), and zenkai red gogeta (obviously in their prime).
My most hated character is the androids, Easily. The cancerous green cards, the constant ramp-up of damage along with the endurance null. I just can’t with that character. Back then It was to the point where if you land a Green, you win. Game over.
I would have also added UI Goku, just the fact that he had a universal counter, dodged and then took a good chunk of your hp, could just counter your physical strikes by using one as well and putting you in a combo, and finally had a massive damaging ultimate that you couldn't do anything about if you got caught was annoying.
I am gonna be honest, what Goresh fells about LF Cooler is exactly what i fell about LF Revival Gohan. That unit came and: made LF Zamasu and LF SSJ4 Gogeta, the headliners of the daam third year aniversary, unusable and reenforced the dreaded hybrids meta.
My top 3 most harmful units: 3. Blue SS Bardock: Why did Super Saiyans suck for so long after his release? This bastard 'ere. Why will future ones make you wanna eat your phone? See above. 2. LF Vegito Blue: This one hurts cause I love the character. He was so insane that I'd bet you that Red units straight up lost their value in the eyes of many players. They were just reduced to "Vegito Blue food" and left collecting dust even if they would be really cool otherwise (Anniversary Omega Shenron). 1. Zenkai Red LF Gohan: Ran the game for a whole year and damaged Zenkai units so severely that they will likely never recover. Every single unit that the playerbase will ever hate won't be at the top for very long. Why? Because we already dealt with a year of this Gohan, and the game will die if they ever do that nonsense again.
Cant wait for bardock to get one of the new unique equips, alongside the release of a blue tag super saiyan goku and vegeta from the metal cooler movie.
I don't know whether you will do this or not but run fusion warrior team with pan, USV and UGB. Purple broly and purple vegito on bench to zenkai buff gogeta two times. You can use ex purple goku for final bench or use USG depending you want 5% damage or not. This is the best fusion setup right now.
I think beast gohan should’ve been here. He has every single thing in the world in his kit and if he gets a green he gets color null cover null and vanish restore. He severely spiked the meta to what we see today.

@@terran87259 I consider broken to be when a unit does something that limits the opponent's options to a level where it feels unfair. FSK did not have anything special, just bonkers blast damage and a Nagasaki Fat Man nuke of an ultimate. No locking, sub count manip, cover null, paralysis, feint, cover change, counters, unique guage, dragon ball manip, or anything else of the sort. Extremely powerful =/= broken.
@@sploda9886 When you look at it in hindsight, sure, FSK does not seem to have much going for him besides raw power and lasering your units to death, but the raw power he had literally was unfair. It was so powerful that the best blue unit in the game at the time, who was so far ahead of every other unit in the game, would literally get melted by A RED unit. His power was what made him so broken. It's why even after every unit that came out after him with different gimmicks like the above you mentioned still was not enough to dethrone him. Only when USG came out is when his reign was over but literally he was so strong that he didn't even need any gimmicks to be broken. It just took him 1 or 2 blast cards for your unit to vanish into non-existence.
@@terran87259 The issue wasn't FSK on his own, it was the hybrids team as a whole with LF Future Gohan and later on Revival Gohan supporting and also tanking, on his own FSK wasn't that big of a threat cause if he truly were (like VB was on release) you wouldn't even see the color yellow in the meta and yet the top like 10 units had 3 Yel zenkai units which were Yel 18, Yel LF Piccolo and Yel DKP.
Another thing that contributed to the FSK dominance was the lack of accessible attribute upgrades removal which is why nowadays he's completely unrunnable despite his dmg still holding up as a LMS, almost anyone has attribute upgrade cancelling nowadays.
I’d have said Red Ssj2 Gohan should have been on the list since he was completely dominant for over a year and is pretty much the sole reason they had to restructure how pvp worked with the booster character system. Being able to solo entire teams and managing to make Blue Vegito not number one despite having type disadvantage to him was bs
Not only that, even after some time, they had the brilliant idea of giving him 2 LF tanks, supporters and also make the Purple LF Goten an support and zenkai boost for the LF Revival Gohan, so you ran LF Future Gohan, Revival LF Gohan, the FSK Gohan and GG's nothing you could do to win, because 2 are tanks and 1 oneshots you with 1 blast card.

Purple bojack yellow Gohan and that blue transforming vegeta was hands down my favorite team of all time... yellow Gohan was in my opinion the card the games ever seen in terms of relevance to time of release.
For me it was zenkai yellow android 18 when she came out. If you lost priority against her even your red units struggled to survive a combo

No he’s right, when your trying to be strategic and you start getting hit by her, you know you are most likely losing a unit.
The units that I have issues with are those that literally play the game for you:
UI Goku: Auto dodge and auto wins clashes when you attack
Ultra Gogeta: Gets a free blue card hit if you attack
Hero Hercule: Can't play the game because you're paralyzed
Og Movies with purple Boujack, yellow Gohan and the blue transforming Vegeta was the meta I hated the most. If Gohan locked someone in that character was good as dead, Boujack cover nulled damn near everything and Vegeta was rush fodder and handled and reds you brought to counter Gohan
Vegeta hit like a truck tho, and don't forget he had blast armor and also heals from the Blue Card

I can say for sure the biggest surprise for me was the tag 4’s I personally dont have an issue with them because all they’ve been is combo with vegeta and bust a strong blue card with goku, they’ve never been OP but have been a very good option but I dont feel like they do anything that annoys you other than probably locking blue cards. Their team is honestly one of if not the most balanced team throughout the game’s history, never had a match where im like oh no I gotta fight GT. Depends on the team they are on but honestly I think tag 4’s are one of the best designed units in modern times, number 1 probably being ultra super vegito or lf 17.

The original release of the purple and red ssj4s and blue Super Baby 2 was horrific. Every match was GT, Goku would instakill you with his lock in blue and Baby would heal so much that winning was impossible.

looking back at this. the rose meta was literally my breaking point. yes, i got lucky on his first banner and pulled him, but my god. the paralysis, the negative card draw speed, debuffs and to top it all off neutral for 20 timer counts and a shit ton of healing just for doing things💀 and not to even mention that unique gauge whenever fills up restores your vanish fully, plus the 3 ultimates. this is the pinnacle of "who the fuck made this kit" playing pvp might aswell be doing zenkai rushes with one character. i hate this unit with a burning passion hotter than hell.

U forgot the most important part about bojack if I can recall, he can also nullify ultimate arts. Which is the reason why 2nd Anni vegito blue had his ultimate practically a guaranteed hit so that bojack couldn't counter it

@@blur7491 Because cooler was so unfun to fight against. It was a coin flip as to whether he drops or he keeps going and you lost a character and potentially the game. He was such a targeted counter to a fairly balanced unit, and now he has NO value because so many characters counter his “locking” mechanic and he can’t punch through any half decent blue character. Such a shame too, cooler is so sick just for him to be like this in legends.
You'd know if you watched the video or played at the top ranks. Cooler was pretty much a must run if you wanted to place in God rank and no other unit at the time came even close to being as good as he was because of that lock in.

The Ultra Super Saiyan Rose has been the bane of my existence ever since he released. Ultra SSB Gogeta is an angel compared to him. Also that Kefla was a monster back when you could combo with tackles. Also SSB Vegito deserves a shoutout. He would combo infinetely when he released.

My list is pretty similar, but I include beast gohan. First of all I spent over 30k crystals trying to pull him, I almost had to rely on the stupid pity ticket system but I was able to get 1 copy, but just everything he does in battle. 90% of matches he starts off with a green card and immediately destroys your hand before you can do anything. His equipment is insane no matter what teams he's on, just like his green card he always seems to have a blue card when cover changing. He is just very annoying and I know what to immediately expect the second I see him on the opponents team
When you put the feelings of fighting these characters into words, it is the FUNNIEST THING I've laughed to in awhile
I’d have gogeta at the top, cooler was mega annoying, but he was killed instantly when beast gohan came out. Blue gogeta is a blight on high level pvp since December and won’t be dethroned until atleast part 3 of the anni in July/august. Essentially locking blast cards and being the scourge of ranged units makes him the most irritating. He also encourages passive gameplay since you know that your opponent might legit have to blast or blue card you. Plus the massive heal plus his double cover change. Coolers got his lock in but other than that is he much worse than gogeta?

i am shocked that beast gohan didn't get at least an honorable mention. for me he is in my top 5 most hated. definitely biased as i blew 30-40k crystals and didn't even get a single copy, but i literally could not play the game until the tag 4's came out and i had something to semi-counter him. it was, you have beast gohan, or you lost the game.
My top 10 most hated characters:
10) vados: the insane card disruption, costant healing, the main that transofremd normal and "kinda mid" god ki units into full on Panzerkampfwagens VII.
9) grn kefla: insane long-ass strike combos, blast armor on everything, blue card rekt your cards and faint on ultimate. Ah also endurance null on ult.
8) namek goku: he became op if was last man standing and just you cound't touch him if he had a blue card. Also would one shot green units with his blue is counter worked.
7)yel champa: the stupid blasts that destroyed your card. The insane disruption he has access and the insane debuffs he applies to your character was insane.
6)green 21: double cover rescue, the annoying flashing with green card, her ult locked you in if you killed soemone and just annoying overall.
5) beast gohan: can do anything and just didn't have sense as a character: destroy cards, cover null, vanish restoration, insane damage, element null. everything. He is fifth just because he was justified of being this strong.
4) LF cooler: Self explainatory.
3) FSK lf gohan: could 1v3 you. Didn't require skill or what so ever. Could melt blue units without element null, and STILL could acces element null.
2) red pan:takes away ALL of your ki. Has a cover change. Can go neutral. Farms a rush in 5 timer counts. Her green locks your main, and debuss you insanely just for existing.
1) zenkai 18: SELF EXPLAINATORY.

He is one of the least toxic but op character like beast but he is not a menace now as when he first released but he's literal angel compared to toxic rose

My MOST hated unit was Blu bois back on release, the fact that I saw them everywhere and couldn’t pull them at all until recently made me go on a 2 month hiatus when they came out

RN cooler is actually decent(top 15-20 ish IMO), if you dont have hit(or have him at low stars) you can have a budget version of hit, ultra rose and zamasu replacing hit with cooler, he still gets the zenkai ability from red rose

VB should have been here somewhere, i think i would have removed ultra Goku black and put VB in his spot, i would have also expected bojack and gohan to be higher.
for me the most hated character list actually goes along the lines of this:
1. USV - I just hated how tanky he was and killing him became even more impossible with how much he healed over and over again. there were times when I couldn't even kill him with a rush from the android 17 side of the tag droids, he was just too much. also, his ult does way too much damage and until even this day I would probably say it is still in the top 3 most damaging ults in the game, and the fact he can go type natural in a few ways when unleashing his ult is even more devastating when running red units because that means no one on the team can take his ult and live, it's kind of like a mini rush, similar to red gohan zenkai's ult when he has a dead ally. overall I just really hated this unit on release and killing him was such a pain, he just felt unbeatable at times and seeing him return actually gives me ptsd from the post anni PvP grinding period.
2. UBG - I just absolutely despise his unique gauge, I think it is actually over powered, it just stops every combo you do and makes you take damage from his blue card from COMBOING HIM. This just seems unfair to me and not having him in this meta feels like always being at a HUGE disatvantage, something I didn't quite feel in any other meta before (maybe the VB and Yellow gohan meta excluded). overall I think that his gauge should've been just a bit worse, maybe making it a bit harder to get or just nerfing it a bit.
3. Hero Hercule - pretty much for the same reason Goresh stated in this video. (42:15 - 46:20)
4. Pan - idk why but I just always hated this unit, her ki reduction is probably the single most annoying mechanic after paralysis/faint and her dragon ball on her blue wit the amount of time her green card takes every time she uses it, plus all of the over powered support she gives. I just really hate fighting this character and sighing every time she pops her main, uses a million green cards, tackles me as II have literally 0 ki and me having almost no counter play whatsoever. she is just a very annoying character to fight against and I really don't like her kit as a whole.
5. yellow transforming gohan - pretty similar reason to Goresh's in the video.
6. Ultra Rose goku black - pretty much the same reason as Goresh's.
7. MUI - it just felt you just couldn't do anything to him when he came out and at high stars he actually had good defenses so killing him felt impossible especially when he was ran with USV on the team. he had the "Universal" cover change and he was just a pretty annoying unit to fight, depleting his gauge felt like a chore every match and made the game feel a lot more stale with the playstyle everyone were playing at the time with him known as the "MUI playstyle" as suggested from it being a thing because of Mui himself. overall he was and probably still is a pretty annoying unit to fight against.
8. yellow rage trunks - this guy was just the WALL, many time when I rushed him even with a big damage dealer he lived with a lot of hp on cover, his defenses were just too good for the time, which is the 2nd anni. killing him felt impossible when he was at high stars especially because of his green card that restored his hp and his HUGE cover sustained damage cut for the time. he was just very annoying to fight at the time as almost no red units were running in the meta because of the vegito blue reign so killing him was very tough.
9. blue ssj bardock - even though I don't really have that big of a problem with him, I do understand what Goresh is saying and I do support his argument about why this character was a very flawed release, but personally I never really cared about him and only saw him as a mainly gimmick unit and not really a top tier option even for super saiyan characters, he's just not really "that guy" in most cases even though his support is op as hell and should never have been given to any unit.
10. green kefla - she was just so intimidating when she came out, one mistake and you were just dead. I remember a lot of people just floating up to you and doing a strike with her and if they landed it successfully, one of your characters were just instantly dead. her reign even got to be longer as a result of VB's release and her countering him while being able to be ran with him, she was just a perfect match for him. which made her pretty intimidating and annoying to fight against.
Honorable mentions: VB himself, Buutenks (was just too bad on release and he is a character I do like), ssj3 purple zenkai goku, blue tansforming goku to ssj, red gogeta zenkai, purple rose goku black zenkai, yellow android 18 zenkai, yellow majuub.
So yeah, thats pretty much it for my list of most hated releases ever in the time I played this game (I'm a day 1 player), there were some eras I wasn't playing at, for exmaple: LF cooler's release, a little bit after the first legends festival and ect', so I might've not included some units from these eras as I just haven't had the chance to play and see those units in action and judge them myself.

I do like this list, but I reckon zenkai fsk gohan would be on the list too in my opinion, during those days every time you versed against him he just straight up kills you and even VB ( who was the most dominant character) gets deleted by gohan, gohan literally broke the game

I've played since release and I'll add more stuff to the list, bet y'all forgot about double buffing it was super broken, ultimates were irrelevant as you just needed a single card to one shot basically anyone. blue broly was so good back in the days, I even remember the red ssj goku and the yellow super vegeta were good. Rage trunks was broken back then as well, one shot virtually anyone with his ult and could heal so much and was tanky. The holy trinity was another meta, zenkai android 18 did way too much damage as well as zenkai red gohan (in his meta with hybrids), and zenkai red gogeta (obviously in their prime).
backfloating still isn’t penalised, people can still still vanish and ki recovery is like x2 fast now

My most hated character is the androids, Easily. The cancerous green cards, the constant ramp-up of damage along with the endurance null. I just can’t with that character. Back then It was to the point where if you land a Green, you win. Game over.

I would have also added UI Goku, just the fact that he had a universal counter, dodged and then took a good chunk of your hp, could just counter your physical strikes by using one as well and putting you in a combo, and finally had a massive damaging ultimate that you couldn't do anything about if you got caught was annoying.

I am gonna be honest, what Goresh fells about LF Cooler is exactly what i fell about LF Revival Gohan. That unit came and: made LF Zamasu and LF SSJ4 Gogeta, the headliners of the daam third year aniversary, unusable and reenforced the dreaded hybrids meta.

3. Blue SS Bardock: Why did Super Saiyans suck for so long after his release? This bastard 'ere. Why will future ones make you wanna eat your phone? See above.
2. LF Vegito Blue: This one hurts cause I love the character. He was so insane that I'd bet you that Red units straight up lost their value in the eyes of many players. They were just reduced to "Vegito Blue food" and left collecting dust even if they would be really cool otherwise (Anniversary Omega Shenron).
1. Zenkai Red LF Gohan: Ran the game for a whole year and damaged Zenkai units so severely that they will likely never recover. Every single unit that the playerbase will ever hate won't be at the top for very long. Why? Because we already dealt with a year of this Gohan, and the game will die if they ever do that nonsense again.
If we didn’t have characters with cover null today purple bojack would still be used. He is the reason I learned how to drop combos back in the day

Purple broly and purple vegito on bench to zenkai buff gogeta two times. You can use ex purple goku for final bench or use USG depending you want 5% damage or not. This is the best fusion setup right now.
