- Wikipedia: A popular television commercial for the Peugeot 206 created by Giovanni Porro, known as "The Sculptor", involved a young Indian man deliberately damaging a Hindustan Ambassador (including having an elephant sit on it) and then spending the night welding it. The following day, the car emerges as an exact replica of the 206's shape - except with many dents and discolorations. The man then takes his 206 replica driving with friends, with many interested onlookers. The track playing is "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" by Raja Mushtaq, later remixed as "Husan", by Bhangra Knights.

@@genryuusai Thanks Gerben, I know what the song is, and I have the Bhangra Knights vs Husan version on CD, but when I look for other mixes of it, and mixes of "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" by Raja Mushtaq, they're all much faster than the version in this advert- e.g th-cam.com/video/2t3O-VfKob4/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Tzazilas.

Ooooh yeah definitely having air bags, abs and all those new safe technology would definitely makes a car more safer but build quality is the 1st priority Or else all those safety equipment are just for show off . So better preferred build quality and body structure stability , which AMBASSADOR indeed have in it from the starting of its production.
Funny thing is that still you will find AMBASSADOR car all over India , 1/30 will definitely be a AMBASSADOR,... but you will never see any of those match boxes & this indeed tells us lot of things.

You mean to say if ambassador car ever gets into a head on collision, the outer shell of the car will not get damaged that easily as it is STRONG by your logic. The car's rigid body will be strong and that's good only for the car but not it's inmates . Your WELL BUILT THICK METAL AMBASSADOR CAR will NOT ABSORB THE IMPACT OF THE COLLISION. It will pass on the impact and SHOCK WAVES TO THE INMATES. That's Deadly to the inmates. Their bones would be broken and can cause serious life threatening injuries to the inmates.
And the modern cars which I think you referred to as matchboxes are built with CAD/CAE Modelling to absorb the impact of collision and not to pass it on to the inmates of the car. So they are much safer than your WELL BUILT MILITARY TANK GRADE AMBASSADORS.😂😂
