Not to be nit-picky, but you can order 10 of these boards for 2 bucks, plus 8 in shipping from easyeda/jlcpcb. I have started ordering boards for many projects because once you have a prototype working, 10 bucks for 10 boards is pretty dang cheap to have it look professional and be easy to build :D *not sponsered by said companies, I just really love them*
Although it's not exactly from scratch, all the info about what the components are there for, helps for either making a custom PCB for an Arduino, or our own similar project.
I guess I didn’t expect you would be engraving the actual pcb and understood that it was adding components to an existing bare board. Everyone’s a critic. It would be nice if there was an easy source to buy board specific components without buying $100 in bulk product but either way works it all comes down to end user dedication to smd projects.
thank you for this video, i recently bought the same pcb, but have no reflow oven, now i will search for the parts. nice you mention the parts in the video.
You can also purchase a smd 898D 700w soldering station for $49.99 (eBay) or convert a $29.99 toaster oven with a $25.90 pid controller that will work well. I have the soldering station with hot air gun and I will say it works remarkably well. Also if you want a professional reflow oven aliexpress has them for $175 if you don’t want the headache of building one and are serious about toying with electronics and not just occasional usage.
helped me get to know about the trivial components of the board! Thanks
the title is wrong
it should be "how to solder your pre-built arduino pcb board"
Antonio Campos yep
Actually, the 'B' in 'PCB' already stands for 'Board'.
So it should be "how to solder your pre-built arduino pcb"

also, with the eagle files you could also have made your own home made pcb.
actually making it costs more than the commercial arduino uno
Lovely voice over, almost like mystery storytelling.
👌

this seems like an interesting project, maybe i'll try it myself some time.
budy your a heaven sent! thanks a lot!
you blew my budget for a $10 Uno with the darn printer.
Great Explanation ! 😊

Great Scott has a video fixing that oven smell
you have the potential to have over 5 million subscribers. Keep doing youtube for 5 years and you will 99% hit at least the 1M mark!
What is the advantage of using 0603 over 0805? I see that this board tends to use 0605 parts a lot. Anyway, nice video!
Does it work without any issue?
É a primeira vez que vejo esse método, é incrível!

I know this is a year late, but you can use something as simple as a halogen bulb, or make a reflow gun from a cheap soldering iron.

ordering a manufactured pcb isn't exactly making it "From Scratch!"
I look forward to your video where you show us how to make an arduino by rubbing sticks and rocks together
Question. do you still need to program the bridge microcontroller? or does the arduino software do this through the data lines?
How much did it cost?????
From scratch......
All of you
First purchase all the Machines
Spend what you can not
Try for days, months and then years
to make an arduino.
Can I get the layout of that PCB, I need it for a project
never been so excited for a video lol
This is neat 👍
Well i do want to do it but i dont have the muns for it🥲
Please send the arduino PCB design
Please share its PCB layout and its Gerber File
what about the pcb
well explained
Its annoying man I also have shaky hands but what one can do ......
Anyone else hear Zachary Quinto?
Hi
Can allow download files?
Please
Anyone had any joy making those solder masks with a plotter?
N wheres the program internally
from scratch ??
thenks
Nice
Good.one!
