Mendoza also discusses the team's need for Pete Alonso to hit in order to win games, but likes the at-bats he's taking and is confident he will break through his slump.

I'm a huge Alonso fan, but he's had a garbage season. He had a runner on third with two out, Alonso up and he grounds out. This is the story for the season. He's hurting the team.

Let's face it. cHRISTIAN SCOTT has a big problem, his nickel cheap, hittable slider. He has given up aroud nine hrs.
Pete Alonso is way overrated, all he is good for is the home run derby. He is consistently not consistent in situational hitting. When we need him most he fails to deliver when we need his bat..
And his defense is awful.
I was a fan of Pete but he doesn't make a an effort to help this team he's playing shite baseball he needs to go sorry Pete but you're total disappointed since the amc Pacer.
