I liked Terry & Buck as they were seasoned & highly respected managers who have had legendary careers. Carlos was a great hire. He has that no nonsense demeanor like Terry & Buck but he has an affable air to him. He isn’t as gruff as some of the old school guys but is warm & affable yet he commands respect. He isn’t a push over like some player’s managers yet he seems to be exactly that - a player’s manager. He also handles the media well & isn’t awkward like some. If you had to sum him up, Carlos is balanced. He has charisma, intelligence & great baseball instincts but he has presence while also being friendly & approachable. He has handled the team well, made excellent moves with the pitchers & during games & he has shown that he belongs - he isn’t overwhelmed. The team started the season horribly. We were 11 games under .500. 11 freaking games! Now we are what? 12 games over & tied for 2nd place & a wild card spot. He kept this team together & grinding while he didn’t let panic or outside noise creep in. This season could have spiraled into the gutter but what a job he & the team have done. This team is full of heart & grit which reflects the manager. I love this team. It’s been a blast. Hopefully we can keep this magic carpet ride going. Hope the Mets go on a tear into the playoffs. You Gotta Believe! Let’s Freaking Go Mets!
A manager can make all the right moves and still not win. The players still have to do their job. Good managers get fired when players don't do their job. Mendoza has the right temperament, and is easy to believe in.
The script was absolutely written for the chick. I have known a lot of female baseball fans in my life, but they were clueless for intricacies of the game.
John Gibbons gotta get some love too for being the bench coach

What a hack this bum Sal was calling for him to be fired in April. Dude is not a real fan
I agree, but Mendoza looked shaky. Stearns proved me wrong, I was nervous on some of his hires at first
dang what a hack this bum Sal..
Words of wisdom from De Coma. With Sal too, my IQ dropped from listening to this.
Young Jose Wilson Sharon Smith Paul
