Great job!!! I was at the Syndergaard game. I've been to 100's of Mets game through the years. The two loudest I ever heard the Stadiums (Shea and Citi Field) was that game against the Royals with Noah and when the Mets clinched in 2006 with Billy Wagner on the mound at shea.
One honorable mention: The Piazza homer against Terry Mulholland vs the Braves June 30, 2000 with the Mets trailing 8-1 with 2 outs in the 8th and scoring 10 runs to beat the Braves. EDIT: YES. I was at that game with my wife's late Uncle Marty.
Piazza home run on Fireworks Night versus the Braves. Mets erased 8-run deficit in bottom of the 8th. The entire weight of the mezzanine tier sank & rose several times as the crowd exploded in frenzy while Piazza pumped his fist up the first base line. Exhilarating and unnerving at the same moment.
@@JrMet2025 In my opinion. I've been to nearly 300 games at Citi and 203 games at Shea. Shea had a loud rowdiness to it, more of a home field advantage. Citi is more laid back, soft crowd. But if they start winning games and making the postseason more that can change. I definitely take Shea.
That was cool but it’s a crime you didn’t put Game 7 final out in 1986 & Ventura’s grand slam single in 99 playoffs or Mets clinching the NLCS in 2000. There was a couple of them that were on this video that were not as loud
Nothing like OLD SHEA with the raving fans and curtain calls plus over 45,000 yelling fans. In 2024, attendance is down around 18% with the richest owner in baseball.

tears in my eyes for more moments with my nephew now!!!
As a Mets fan who goes to school in New England... "Behind the bag! IT GETS THROUGH BUCKNER! HERE COMES KNIGHT AND THE METS WIN IT!"

Nice! Ok I will make sure to have that in the next video if there is footage from that moment
That one rocked Shea. IMHO the best inning in Mets history besides game 6 of the 86 WS.
Best come back of all time
Credits to MLB, and the New York Mets
When Strawberry was up, you stopped whatever you were doing and watched - you never knew how far he’d hit it.
@@paktype alright. Thanks for the advice. I’ll see if the clip was longer to see how for he hit it
What great moments. More to come. OMG!
Thank you! #OMGrimace
Amazing one
Thanks
You can stop after Mookie my friends 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
“It’ll take twenty minutes for him to round the bases.”😂
I saw Mookie/Buckner on TV when I was 21. I’m 59 now and hoping to see another WS title.
@@paktype That’s awesome you got to win it all!
I'm hoping to see another one...I don't remember 1986...I was too little

my grandparents were at game 6. my grandma said she’d give me the ticket stubs.
Those were the days when OLD SHEA had capacity crowds. In 2024 attendance is down 18% in a smaller ball park.
@@joselopezmoya9786 Very interesting. Just curious as a stadium itself which one is better Shea or Citi?

Should've added Strawberry's 3 run homer that tied game 3 of the1986 NLCS. Shea Stadium was rocking when that happened
Ok. I’ll add that one in the next video
Yo wtf was moustakws doing at 0:16 😂
I don’t know
it was after a pitch thrown behind kc from noah
Let’s Go Mets!
Forgot Piazza 3-Run HR June 30, 2000.
Ok. I’ll include that in the next part
If that's the Mets 10 run inning against Atlanta yes that's probably the biggest crowd roar I've ever heard

@@ThePhenomm ok. I might make a series of these and if I do I will add those moments.
To be honest, I like Citi Field more than SHEA stadium
Oh so you don't think it was loud in '69?

Get ready sir because things are about to change soon with attendance.
Now players at CITIFIELD don't take curtain calls.
Be patient my friend. They will happen soon.
How about it when young fans used to gather at McFADDENS. THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN ANYMORE, THERE ARE NO MORE CURYAIN CALLS ANYMORE.
It will come back in the future my friend.

The Metropolitans are the highest paid team in Baseball and they will win the championship in 2024 or move to Jersey.
I don’t think they should move to NJ ever.
