    Awesome video. You definitely called the right man for the job. Rory knows his stuff about trail repair and crawlers. He's the go to man on those trails.

    Lol the whole time you were climbing the trail around 5 minutes 23 seconds I was amazed at you that bird never flapped once but stayed in the exact same place the whole time. Took me a good 20 seconds to realize it wasn't a bird

    Smart move making a trail repair instead of a tow out of that place!

    This is a super cool video. I seen Rory and other TH-camrs do some of the tricky spots out through there, but I'm glad you took the time to show the scenery in some of the spots that most TH-camrs don't show.

    If Rory says it spooks him towing down that hill, you already know it will be a place mear mortals don’t want to go. Definitely fix on the trail if at all possible.

    I've been watching Rory for some time and just love the way he can throw his wrecker about the trails; he makes the difficult ones look easy, I admire his ability so much. I've been watching your channel for about 6 to 8 weeks, and I believe your wrecker is much heavier than Rory's. It never ceases to amaze me how well you handle your machine. Your knowledge and driving skills are awesome as well. Thank you for this scary video and thank goodness you didn't have to tow one out, glad you all got out safe.

  • @aaronmcconnell7358
    @aaronmcconnell7358 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That years of experience pays off again no need to put any unnecessary stress on the wrecker and your ticker towing out a trip like that ,like Kenny said you gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em . Rory just needs to get a sikorsky sky crane and just fly the rig out they can handle up to 20,000 lbs just wouldn't want the fuel bill lol

  • @TheOldaz1
    @TheOldaz1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Smart move repairing it so you don't have to hook it. Those square body trucks very hard to see out of even with the corner markers when doing those trails, might be better off with an early 50's International or similar truck cab on there. Thanks for sharing.

  • @shaunmulcahy7496
    @shaunmulcahy7496 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The wrecker sure is a cool looking truck you know it could probably use the diet and get around better in the mud and on these trails you go out to visit

    @danielharrah9984 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    That in-cab footage is so odd to watch! It feels like you've missed the line but then the front pops up and I realize that it's just the wide angle that makes it look different than it really is

  • @floydstowe

    That was smart calling Rory and doing a trail repair if that hill spooks Rory someone who is fearless there is no way I would ever try it.
    Driving that hill going down is challenging there is no way I would tow a vehicle down it.

    That’s a lot of tire rubber wear and some road oils from the pavement that was picked up on the tire surfaces coming off on that rock surface on the trail. Some environmentslist will soon be requiring special tires and tire wash before riding the trail.

    Looking at the trail, it appears completely rubbered in, so the levels of grip must be sky high.
    Must be some consolation especially when relying on engine braking down those steep inclines?
