We love the Nullarbor having travelled it about 25 times west to east and east to west . Our first time was in a 2 door GTR Torana in 1972 driving from Darwin to Perth with gravel from Alice to Pt Augusta and Ceduna to the WA border . Such a unique trip . You can always find or see something new each time we drive the road . Next time will be later this year heading to Qld to pick up a new caravan . Always loving your videos .
That's so amazing, we hope we have a similar story to tell in future years! Two crossings down, twenty-three to go! The GTR Torana is a classic, very expensive these days if you can get your hands on one these days! 👍👍
@@VetinaVan The Torana was very close to the ground so down the middle from A S creek beds wouldn’t be seen until you flew over them as the road was only defined by the gravel mounds along the road side . The Nullarbor had some very quirky roadhouses like Ivy Tanks where you could get the best bacon burger ever even at midnight ( as we did once) .
Thanks for another enjoyable Episode guys. Biggest detour ever😜 It’s the little things that are so lovely ….. the snail trail that entertained the little people - adorable 🥰
Awesome that got me excited we are going over again in less than two weeks. We drive a 200 series and while I carry a spare fuel filter we drove from NSW to Perth when the filter light came on and just reset it twice but came home ok. Looking forward to the big reveal. Thanks again.
Stunning footage and thank you again for the compilation. I did 8wk trips to Ceduna over 3 years with my parents from SE QLD. Such wonderful memories with insane fishing, bagging out most days out in the bay! Did you guys stop at all in Ceduna? Excited to see your new rig too! I'm guessing Isuzu Crew cab 4X4 6 seater. ;-)
Spent a total of 24 hours in SA, skipped Ceduna and went up through the Gawler Ranges. We are hoping to do SA again in late 2025 and into 2026, still have so much to see there! 🍻🍻

Yup so true, we love it how if left to their own, kids will always find something to play with, less technology, more snails! 🍻👍😀

How exciting! Hope the weather will be better for you on the Nullarbor than it was for us! 🍻😀👍
That intro! 👌🏽
Haha, cheers mate! 🍻🍻
Great video as always. Agree wholeheartedly.. spend money in these great country towns
100% shop local where ever possible as most are family run and the funds go straight into the town. 👍👍🍻🍻
That was an easy filter change👍
Yup, gota love the simplicity of a 70 series landcruiser! 🍻🍻

And it's not an Isuzu NPS 😉 It was high on the list, but did not make the cut.
When you are in Hughenden there is an excellent free camp.
We did not get to Hughenden, went north from Charters Towers! Maybe on the way back down. 😀😀
What are those " pads'"that you have on the door trim where you would normally rest your elbow?
Just cheap armrests mate, another 70 feature the don't have stock! 🍻🍻
Bruce has a friend.
His brother, the same size, lives in Hughenden. In the Main Street would you believe.
We are getting close to Hughenden now! 👍
