I love your Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle 😊and your bunny too, of course! 💖 The quilt is already looking so beautiful. What adorable company you had in this video! 😄🐾
Awwww 🤗😱 thank you so much. It is my 3rd quilting of a blanket and I made so many mistakes with my panels. They ended up different sizes 😱😱😱 so i will have to remedy that when i put them together. I never thought I would be a quilter🤣🤣🪡🧵 it has been fun learning 💕
You made so many nice things and I'm pleased you gave the scheepjes a go on your favourite pattern. She turned out so cute. Loved seeing all your makes and hearing your ideas... they're flowing just now! ❤
Hi Pamela thank you so much 😊 it was very nice to be able to use the stonewashed 🧶 i am going to use some of it for my hexie blanket flowers 🌸 too👍 I am so overwhelmed with all the things I have on the go.. i need some self discipline to finish🤣😅
The granny square ribbon would be great for accents on jeans...along the bottom or on pockets. Your hexi blanket is so amazing! Such an heirloom piece. ❤ Your quilting is wonderful.
Hi Caroline 🤗 your squares for Jenni’s CAL are very pretty! You know the purple is my favourite! How awesome that they are all the same size! Ooo that elastic is very interesting 🤔 I can’t wait to see how you use it! The granny square ribbon is fantastic! I love how you used it to flip the t-shirt! Your quilted table runner & couch blanket are gorgeous! You’ve really upped your sewing game! 👏🏻👏🏻 All your amigarumi are adorable! Always fun hanging out with you! 🥰🧶🤩
The birdies would look cute in the tree, but maybe you can add a sun ☀️ and flying birds in the sky? Idk, just a thought. Omg 🥰🐶❤️ Love the squares! Granny square ribbon!!! 🤩 I’ve never seen a quilt like that before! Awesome 👏 ❤ Huggies 🤗💖
Hello Caroline ❤ What a great video with such a lot of projects. The squares are great! And that bunny is alsp a favourite pattern of mine, so cute witb the Scheepjes stonewashed. Your quilts are going to be amazing 🤩
Hi Cassandra, i am actually playing yarn chicken and making the bear by the designer but I really dont think I am going to win at yarn chicken 🐔 😱 I really love making the quilt top but quilting is not so easy. This is only my 3 rd quilt though. I wish my quilting skills were better. I am still having fun though 💕
Put the blue bird towards the top of the tree and the other in the sky just above the tree top as if it is about to land on the tree. Cute granny square - like the sun idea 😊
The little birdies are adorable 😊 I think they would be adorable facing each other on the top of the tree, but I do understand what you mean about up on the sky too ...maybe if you added a couple of small triangles to represent outstretched wings you could put them in the sky as if in flight ? All your makes are so fun, and I love seeing them ❤
Hi Caroline, you did such a great job of your squares! ❤ I understand the urge to forge ahead with the next square lol.. I’m controlling myself 😂 love the little birdies, they are so cute! You are also making me feel like I want to do a bit of sewing but I don’t have the time! Haha 😊
Hello Jennie, i just couldn’t help myself with doing more squares. I was tempted to just keep going with the first one . Love that one👍💕 Those little birds were perfectly small and simple. They were made for a bookmark. Oh dear sewing is so much to learn but the Fabric is so gorgeous. I have way more fun with fabric than yarn 🧶 🤣🤣
Caroline, so many beautiful projects!! Wow! Love your quilt projects! I want to learn so many things, but no place nearby that teaches sewing classes. I have been trying to work on single size bed afghans for each of my grandchildren. It has been so hot, so I have to take things a bit slower this summer. I sit with the fan directly on me when I am working on them so I don't get so hot. I want to be working on some amigurumi, but wish I had some Schepjees Catona or something to work with... Oh well, take care! Happy crafting!!
Hello there 🤗 i totally understand i have been so hot as well. I have a fan on me as well. As for sewing I had to knock on a lot of doors before I found the right place. Thankfully my town has a few shops to choose from., What are you wanting to sew ? Because if i didn’t have a place i would be joining the on line groups. I could recommend a couple in an upcoming video 👍
Oh my goodness, you have been a busy bee. So many lovely projects. I am so inspired. I joined the A Year of Granny Squares CAL too. I am the same way with not wanting to put the patterns down. I only finished the center of the second square before I got distracted by my children. As soon as I got the book, I just had to start. So I began in the summer section. Oh my goodness, there are so many cute patterns to try. The one I really wanted to do was the pinwheel, but I could not figure it out. I did not know about the Facebook page, so I will have to go back and sign up. I really love the colors you are using.
Oh awesome I am so glad you are enjoying the granny book too. Since you did the summer are you using a 4 weight yarn? If so, what size are your squares..? Hopefully you will post your squares in the book. So we can look forward if what is to come👍👍🤗🤗 I am going to go look at The pinwheel one .💕 Thank you for sharing Bonnie,💕💕
@@carolinefortheloveofcrochet My squares are 7 inches and I am using 4 weight yarn, but I have changed to a F hook because the larger hook makes the intricate parts too loose. They lack definition when the piece is finished. Take the pinwheel square. It looks like a mess and the chains are too far apart even using the F hook. I got to row 5 this morning, but I did not like it. I'm going to try it again with a smaller hook. Where I am falling apart is where there is a fptr from row 2. So if I do two of them in the same stitch, my count goes to sixteen and not eight. I am really stuck. I will send a picture of what it looks like after row 4. I am taking your advice and going to sleep on it before I try again.

Wow beautiful blankets/quilts! I think the granny square rribbon would look great as straps for a tank top.
Thank you 😊 so much💕
