The roll over valve is LONG gone for these cars. What is the alternative. I cannot find ANY solution. Aftermarket looks to be part of tank (replaces the 2 white plastic things on top of OEM tank) and honestly... from best I can tell, all the valve even does is reroute what makes it out of the tank and back into the filler neck (unless it rolls over), so VERY little is stopped? or does it control the actual filler neck's backed up fuel?
Great video! I'm thinking about getting the N1s with the SSS for my daily driver V3 STI. I'm trying to decide if its worth it to get these or just rebuild the stock STI struts.
Not sure why you did all this work and then used bedliner to coat the underneath. Those bedliners trap moisture over time and will accelerate the rust. You needed sulfuric acid to agitate the rust, clean it with a wire wheel, then primer and a sealant. This process cleans up the rust and prevents it.
Also how is that custom tubing working? I'm trying to figure out what to do with all that myself. I have one healthy set of hoses, but after that it is going to all be AN custom...
The aluminum tubing is working great! I had the rubber hose from the pump to the aluminum line start leaking but I’ve fixed that with a better piece of hose and clamps
Why did you change the diff Mount bracket and brace to GD? I haven’t seen that done before. Trying to get my head around suspension options for my new to me V1 type RA
There wasent really any reason for me to change it other than that it has all 06 STi drivetrain parts and this rear subframe is what the donor car had in its trunk which was basically brand new. I also had a different WRX swapped coupe in the past which also had GD rear subframe and brace so I just followed in my last footprints
