    Not sure why you did all this work and then used bedliner to coat the underneath. Those bedliners trap moisture over time and will accelerate the rust. You needed sulfuric acid to agitate the rust, clean it with a wire wheel, then primer and a sealant. This process cleans up the rust and prevents it.

    Will the shocks now bottom out before the bump stops or does this kit account for that. That is my main issue with cheaper lift kits, but does this one fix that issue?

    • @EvanIggy
      @EvanIggy 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bump stops are integrated into the struts. Since that the strut is still 100% un-touched besides a top mount spacer the strut itself will still operate the same as it did before. What you’re talking about is if the spacer itself actually put more tension on the spring, that could screw with bump stop effectiveness.

    The roll over valve is LONG gone for these cars. What is the alternative. I cannot find ANY solution. Aftermarket looks to be part of tank (replaces the 2 white plastic things on top of OEM tank) and honestly... from best I can tell, all the valve even does is reroute what makes it out of the tank and back into the filler neck (unless it rolls over), so VERY little is stopped? or does it control the actual filler neck's backed up fuel?

    Hi, Any chance you can help me out, I was looking at changing the two large bushes either end on the "Y" shaped diff guard, as it turned out I just could not get the old ones out so end up buying a pre owned one that had uprated bushes already fitted, it's all fitted now but I am getting some serious vibrations throughout the car at certain speeds and revs, would the uprated bushes cause this or is it likely to be something else, I have a 2003 WRX Wagon. Kind regards Shane

    • @EvanIggy
      @EvanIggy 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It could be sending more NVH through the cabin. But what I’d maybe do is put it on a lift or 4 jack stands and drive the car and have yourself or someone else watch under the car and see if you can find the cause of the vibration. It could also be the driveshaft not being installed the same way it came out. Did you mark the orientation of it before removing?

      I checked it after 2k miles (they suggested 1k miles but forgot) and it was full. After that I checked again after 2k miles and it was about half full. Then I checked after 5k miles and it was only about a 1/4” full. Now I go every 5k miles (Rotate/ balance service interval) and there’s always alittle less than 1/4” of fluid in it.
