If I could afford to be scummy like that I’d at least try not to show my face. Can’t believe she intended on buying the first spot in line then buy all of their iPhone inventory all while bragging about it on camera. She also is way too confident thinking she wouldn’t get robbed while carrying 100 iPhones to her car.
If you could afford to be that scummy you wouldn’t need to be that scummy
There were less robbers back then too...
@ratedjosh Per Dallas Police Department:
Robberies per 100,000 people in Dallas in 2009 (when and where this video is from): 426
Robberies per 100,000 people in Dallas in 2021: 315
Similar downward trend in crime rates throughout most of the US since the 1980s, with a brief rise during 2020 pandemic year that has since subsided. But it's a lot easier to live in fear and pretend the country's burning when you're terminally online and only watch "news" that fits your own petsonal narrative I guess.
@@bobsnow6242 Violent crimes toward random people (stealing, agression, those things) is getting very high in France since 10 years.
Also, more and more people in need, asking for money, sleeping outside...drug and migrant spots creating insecurity...
Those things didn't exist in the past, in France. I don't know for the US...but things changes, badly.
@@bobsnow6242 You got too much time on your hands.
The reporter must have known about the one iPhone per store rule and thought “This is going to be an hilarious segment. She has no idea… and there is no way in hell that I’m going to tell her.” 😂
I know most reporters make it a point to not interfere in what is happening (especially when it is something as trivial as an iPhone launch). But… damn, lol.
They talked her in to buying the front spot and also had her say 100k in the beginning despite the fact that she only had 16k. The news crew basically created the moment.
@@johne1986No they didn’t. She showed up planing to buy the first spot so she could buy the store out and she had 16,000 cash on hand. She was going to pay the rest with her card.
I can't believe that's actually Marc, when I first saw him doing his glorious loops a few months ago I immediately thought "he reminds me of that iPhone launch news story guy", unreal.
Who is that?

@@zebran4 Marc Rebillet AKA Loop Daddy
holy shit... I watched this out of nowhere and I see Marc Rebillet as a kid smoothing his way into an easy $800. This guy's been winning since the beginning. I remember watching this way back in the day too.
"She gave me 800 dollars" lol the look and delivery are golden
Watching this years later it still never gets old
This guy needs to get into acting.
He makes cool music th-cam.com/video/NLkbqWSY6Bg/w-d-xo.html

he's better than an actor, he's loop daddy
According to his wiki he majored in acting in college but dropped out.

wait that's marc rebillet
6 years and it's still fucking perfect. Would loved to see more of her reaction though!
Ten years and it still perfect
11 years and it’s still perfect
They probably couldn’t broadcast her reaction due to FCC regulations
Not as perfect as it is 13 years later
15 years later and it’s still perfect!!
I love tech & I love Apple. But standing 12 hours in line for anything non living is a crazy obsession.
He didn’t even sell his spot, he just let her cut in line 😂
He did sell his spot but he got another spot from his dad, who was not planning to buy one, to replace the sold spot.
Classic Rebillet...
This vid is so damn fake, so yeah it’s probably a given that the reporters wrote in a contingency plan to make sure Mark got a phone despite selling his spot. None of it makes any sense lol, you can see the two other friends apparently waiting with Mark but why the hell is one of them camping out for a day and then not even buying a phone
@@monhi64 Because he’s the homie
@Cooper hell yes it is fake. How foes a camera crew KnOw whats going to happen before it does and they interview some random smuck who just got $800 and not the damn lady who was going to buy a store fill of iphones with $16,000 but when she arrived she said i have $100,000
His voice has ALWAYS been that sexy?!?!?!

HOLY SHIT I WATCHED THIS VIDEO BACK IN 2013 AND I DIDNT KNOW WHO MARC WAS AND LIKE 4 DAYS AGO I WATCHED MY FORST MARC VID AND TODAY TH-cam RECOMMENDED ME THIS OUT OF THE BLUE AND I WATCHED IT CAUSE I REMEMBER LIKING IT.
That’s awesome. Coolest video i’ve seen in 2018.
update: that marc guy’s a fruit
Just realized, that Marc's dad is also there. 1:31
Maldito Ping you’re right! Good spot!
Rip. He raised a good one
Has anyone noticed back in past everyone's skin looked all intact to the face, a fresh face a certain glow , not depressed or anything you can see charm in their eyes ❤️
This is particularly interesting because Mark is ALSO the guy who claimed to find an unpublished Sufjan Steven's album "Stalker" in Brooklyn a few years ago, and leaked the album online.
I didn’t know that was him. Cool
That fact that this is getting recommended to me 14 years later
Same who the fuck is Marc tho

Same, i wonder if YT actually recommend this to Marc Ribellet watchers or if it's just coincidence.
Just realised Marc's daddy is with him @ 1:32
Looks like a gentleman

Yeah I was just about to write the same thing because I never realized it until today. Rest In Peace 🙏🏾
loop grandaddy RIP
Lol how he kept calling it a “serious package” while subtly flicking off the camera. It’s good to see Marc has been the same way his whole life.
I'm kinda pissed he just took the 800. I woulda asked for more.
"How much would it take to buy your spot?"
"How much you got?"
Well he's not a greedy asshole, he just knew that if he had $800 it would pay for the phone he was waiting in line for. Besides, asking too high would just make her move to the next person instead and barter for a lower amount.
@@Vandragorax exactly
It’s karmically better that the woman set the amount instead of Marc - that way she really has no room to complain.
I won't be pissed if i was Marc Rebillet for sure
Every time I think about scalpers I think about this video. Well played, Mark.
If this lady would’ve invested that money in apple stock it would be worth $4,000,000 today
Respect to the shop for implementing that policy.
HEY! his dad is there too. Nice. I remember the video that he did in his honor. Really sweet.
Marc has always been ahead of the crowd, this proves it
Man. Marks double take, look off camera at 0:03 is one of the best things ever.
I don't know why this was in my recommended today but I'm glad it was
Marc is a legend
His demeanor at the end of the clip says it all
I hope this guy makes it in the big world, I've just got a funky feeling about him
You knew he was meant for great things. #godblessloopdaddy
Why is this in my recommendation.. and people were this crazy about iPhone 15 years ago?!?
I can't say I LOVE the algorithm, but once in a while, man... TH-cam provides me with EXACTLY what I need. Hilarious video too, with a great lead actor, might I add. 10/10
The person who had gotten $800 has a youtube channel, Marc Rebillet, he's awesome.
Also it isn't acting... :)
This guy is an absolute legend
Lol “THIS woman”
I could almost hear the newscaster bobbing his head when he said that
And she was so sickeningly smug, it just makes the burn so much more beautiful.
Someone on IG said the lady was also wearing a Mary Kay saleswoman jacket as well. It's safe to assume, she was already getting screwed by Mary Kay and she thought by scalping off iPhone's, she would be able to profit enough where she could get out of being "garage certified" 😅🤣😆 Instead, she became "platinum garage certified" by wasting $800 AND getting caught on TV 🤣😅😆🤣😅😆
Hey youtube, thanks for the recommendation 15 years later 😊

Love that this is recommended to me 14 years later so I can see our legend being a legend since day one. Haha
Meanwhile Fantano was yelling in the woods
Amazing transition from her smugly bragging about being first in line to finding out she couldnt buy more than one phone 😆
It makes me sick how people get over things that can be so unimportant. I miss the old days.
Like how you are getting sick over something so unimportant?
I'm here for Marc Rebillet, October 2018. Dude was even smooth talkin' as a kid!
This man had protagonist energy from the beginning
I remember seeing this some 14 years ago and upon embarking and entering the loop of the daddy, at one point I suddenly thought of this video. The voice, his snarky smile all the way through and and thought: Shit, the odds are low but I swear that was Marc. Couldn't find it for a while (I didn't even think of adding his name in the mix) but low and behold, after watching enough Marc I suppose... I unlocked the treasure as a recommended video. Serious package himself now but now confirmed he was always a legend, bless this man!
Where are they now?
*Marc: Successful TH-camr and Master of Robes
*Karen: Buying up all of the PlayStation 5's and reselling them on e-bay...
Literally the most charming man in America. LEGEND
Knowing him as who he is now, this is amazing 😂
How did nobody rob that lady waving cash out her car window? Also she said wanted 100K of iPhones but only took out 16K. Was that money just to bribe her way to the front of the line?
